This knife is awesome. Perfect weights, comes really sharp. It made short work of a whole rib roast. I definitely don’t regret my purchase.

Gorgeous and functional boning knife
This 9" boning knife is both pretty and functional and a steal at the current $40 on Amazon. It comes in a very nice box suitable for gifting, has "Dragon Riot Japan" on the box lid, lovely red lining, and the blade tip was protected with a plastic cap. It does NOT have a blade sheath though for storage so be careful if you put it in a drawer instead of a knife block. It appears to have a single piece of steel for the blade with the appearance of a Damascus style process but for a lot less money that most. The single tang sits in a solid wood handle with three rivets, one of which is more decorative. Tha handle has a nice feel to it and is comfortable to hold and use without slipping too much, although I prefer a little more of a blade block there especially when working with raw meats. It is exceptionally sharp and easily sliced through a tomato with only the slightest pressure applied. The blade is only moderately flexible for a boning knife but easily dispatched deboning a chicken, trimming a rack of lamb, and rack of ribs. The blade tip is effective in sliding into the meat and by the bone, although I don't think the blade is flexible enough for deboning fish, so I can't give it 5 stars. Still it is a solid knife with a visually pleasing blade,

Best knife in the house
Well this knife is just amazing. It's a great size, easy to handle, and razor sharp. I'm not a knife expert, but I was blown away by how sharp the knife was. I'm used to an old serrated set, and this was a night and day difference. The grip feels great, the edge is honed easily by our honing rod, and it's just a joy to use. The only problem is that it's always dirty now - because everyone chooses to use it! The style of the knife is beautiful, and in a style that very much appeals to me and fits in with any other knives in your block. For the price, this thing is an amazing deal. Heavily recommend.

Very sharp
This is pretty nice looking knife, and is extremely sharp. I've found that it is a very nice paring knife and make nice clean cuts through whatever your cutting. Cutting a tomato is always a good test for sharpness, and the Dragon Riot knife does this with flying colors, clean cut with no ragged edges. Even slicing a soft tomato into thin slices was no problem. The handle is well made and contoured to feel good when using. I can't attest as to how long it will hold its edge, but considering how I plan to use it I suspect it will stay sharp for a long time. Like any high-end knife, it's important to hand wash when you're done and dry it right away.

Love this so much!
Such an amazing little knife. The quality is great. The wood is fantastic, the steel is perfect. I always oil my knives after every use, so I don’t know if this will rust if left alone for a long time, so I can’t comment on that, but the overall quality and look of this knife is really amazing. Very happy with it.

Sharp and feels good in the hand
The knife overall is very sharp and has a nice point to it. The handle feels good in the hand too.Been using this knife for a few weeks now, and put it thru its paces for a variety of chopping, dicing, and cutting - and the sharpness so far is holding up.Feels fairly well made, with a few minor items to point out. There is a small gap between the wooden handle and where the blade goes in. Not a huge issue, but need to ensure it is kept clean with a brush. Other being that the metal slightly sticks up at the back, past the wooden handle so while chopping and putting some pressure on the back of the knife you may feel that ridge sticking up (may be just the one that I got?).As for using the knife, it feels great in the hand, and there is a lot of control while using it. The shape is good for most fruits and vegetables, and I did not notice anything really sticking to the blade while chopping. The box it comes in is very nice too, would make for a great present for anybody who needs a knife or loves to cook. There is no sheath included, so keep how to store it in mind. I would most likely purchase another and will look around to see what sizes and shapes they make.

Razor Sharp & Beautifully Crafted
The media could not be loaded. I’m so impressed with this paring knife! Is razor sharp and cuts through fruits and vegetables like butter. The quality is exceptional, it's perfectly balanced, and the blade has a beautiful wave pattern that gives it such a premium look. The pakkawood handle feels comfortable and secure in my hand, even with extended use. Whether I'm peeling, slicing, or doing delicate prep work, this knife handles it all effortlessly. It also came beautifully packaged, making it a great gift idea. Highly recommend to anyone serious about quality kitchen tools!
