This was NOT a 4-in mattress topper as stated but a 3-in shipped in a box that said 4-in. Not sure if an error was made and a 3-in was accidently put into a 4-in box or it never measured 4-in to begin with. This company does sell a 3-in also (does that mean you really get a 2-in?) but this is NOT what I ordered. I complained to Amazon who said I could always return it but that is easier said than done. There was no way I would be able to put this back in the original box as it comes compressed and once expanded, well forget it! You might do it with 2 people with a much bigger box. I ordered a Queen size, and it took all my strength (I'm a senior citizen) to get it to my bed once expanded. I had to leave it over my sofa for 2 days (per instructions) to expand fully so I could sleep on my only bed. It really didn't expand any more after the first hour so 2 days IMO was not necessary, but I kept hoping it was going to get to 4-inches. Overall, not happy with product...it is too soft and NOT for someone with a bad back. It is a little difficult to get out of bed also due to the softness. Two things were good about it; (1) the cover, which I would never attempt to remove due to the difficulty of getting it back on; (2) there was no noticeable odor (no off-gassing). This company has lost my trust so never again.

Be aware, this thing comes in a huge box. My local post office wouldn’t deliver it so if you have trouble lifting moderately heavy items make sure you have someone around to help, total weight for the queen size is probably close to 40 lbs.I’m currently in my 2nd trimester of pregnancy and I have been waking up with horribly aching hips for a week now, so I’m desperate for relief (and sleep). This reduces pressure on my hips and will work just fine for now.There are a couple of things I don’t like. The biggest issue being that it’s about an inch wider than my queen mattress. It’s less noticeable with sheets on but I was hoping it would fit better.Also, and this is an issue with a lot of memory foam toppers and mattresses in my experience, you sink into it and the sides curl up a little. If you aren’t a heavy person it might be less noticeable.It is 4” as described, and it reaches full thickness in about 5-10 minutes. My sense of smell is very strong right now and I still couldn’t detect any nasty chemicals when I first unwrapped it, which was a concern for me.I may have to change my review after a week or two but as of now I’m happy with it.

I am a side sleeper and was having severe issues with hips. This pad is the greatest! Finally getting a good night's sleep.

Very happy with this purchase! I will say, some of the reviews that say it is a little bit bigger than the actual queen size bed are correct. It does hang off the sides of my bed just a tiny bit. Sheets are VERY HARD to get on because of this…But it’s incredibly comfortable and I’ve had no issue with it moving/slipping around or anything like that. No odd smells when I first opened it, and the cover was nice too. Overall I’d definitely recommend

I was a bit nervous after I opened the box and unwrapped the topper...it was in a super tight roll and spreading it out on the bed, I could see and feel some long, hard ridges. Information that came with the topper said it would smooth out. I unzipped the cover (which is very nice quality) to let the foam breathe. There was a very slight odor which went away within a half hour or so. After a few hours, the whole topper was flat and smooth. I placed a fitted sheet over the topper and made up the rest of the bed.I bought this product because over this last year, I developed osteoarthritis in my hips and my very expensive, very firm mattress was causing discomfort since I am a side sleeper. I didn't want to spend big bucks for a new mattress (the current one is just like new, just too firm) so I was hoping a softer mattress topper would fix the problem. I am thrilled to say YES! YES! YES! I slept so well last night and woke up without stiffness. What a difference!! I am very happy with this product. Also, when had I sent a message to the seller with a question, they had responded quickly.

This is really comfortable. The reason it's not getting a 5 star review is twofold. First, it's sliding off my bed on the side where I sleep. Second, in spite of being labeled as a queen topper, it's a touch too big for my bed which seems odd. I've also noticed a dirt-like smell emanating from it which does not seem to be going away. Too much work to send it back, so I'll somehow make do.

No smell. Nice cover. I have a Tempur-pedic queen which has softened corners. The topper is the perfect width, but is about 2” too long, and the corners are very square, so putting the fitted sheet on is a fight. Yes, my sheets are deep pocket sheets. Very comfy to lay on once the fight is over though.

I dislike the fact it does not stay on my mattress. I have a queen bed and ordered queen topper and ir is one inch larger around each side. Therefore it does not stay in place. Does not work well with pillow top mattresses. Paid $150 and cannot return or get a refund. Sad I'm stuck with an inferior product.
