Very nice product, reasonable price, well packed, shipped quickly, arrived safely. Tucked in among the foliage in large flower-filled planters, which are located around the edge of patio. Timers are set to go on early evening - they provide an inviting "flickering" ring of soft illumination around our small patio. And they conveniently all turn off at midnight. I installed LED batteries and the battery life so far is much better than usual. Although I carefully pick them up when watering the planters, they have been caught in more than one Seattle rain shower - definitely waterproof!

Love these! I have them all over for the holidays and on my porch for the summer. The timer and remote are a must and very handy. They come on at the same time every evening and go off 4 hours later. Without this function I would never remember to turn them on. I have them under my COVERED porch and in an open lantern. The waterproof feature has been tested and they held up. They were not in the open in the beating down rain. Happy with this purchase have bought several sets, will probably purchase more.

While these are Made well, and visually impressive to display, two of the three pillar candles In my set did not work AT ALL! Amazon refunded my money, and i ordered a different set from another seller. I was so disappointed because I liked the look of these. They aren’t any good though, if they don’t light up!!

These are plastic, not wax, which isn't a dealbreaker to me. It is annoying that when I adjust the volume or change the channel on my TV the candles turn on but won't turn them off, so I have to keep the candle remote close by to turn them back off. Weird. I'm only using them for the holidays so the annoyance won't be long-term.

We've had the candles outside on our covered deck for about a month. We put one each in lanterns and they look very real. We use them every night for about 2 hours and have not had to change the batteries. It's so convenient to be able to turn the candles off and on using the remote. I have recommended these to my friends and family!

Well, I bought these to go in my snowman lantern outside. I have never used these type of "candles" before so I didn't know what to expect. I was surprised at how much I like them; I use two of them inside on my snowman table and the other one outside in my snowman lantern. The timer works well and so does the remote but I've only had them a day, so time will tell! They do look realistic, at least to me. I could recommend them to a friend.

EDIT: Contacted the seller and got a replacement sent with no questions asked. Good customer support and the product is awesome...I hope it lasts this time.Original Review: Worked well for 2-3 months now the remote is acting up. I need to push the button several times. Not all the candles turn on at once. It's hard to turn them back off. Single candles turn back on at random times through the repeat timer. Really frustrating and basically not usable anymore.Changes the batteries of the remote and candle. Not working.I really liked it but I sadly cannot recommend it because they don't last.

I really wanted some lights, to be used particularly over the holiday and in the dreary months, to replace another set of paraffin electric candles. With those, I found they emitted a plastic/fake vanilla scent that permeated everything. These don't, so I'm very happy with my purchase of two sets.

This works great in out outdoor lanterns, I have not encountered any problems, and recommend this. I went with these as the real wax would melt in the sun. The overall appearance of the flickering flame is quite realistic.

I really like these candles - they look awesome and throw lots of light just like a real candle. I like that I don't have to worry about leaving them 'burning' like a real candle. I just set the timer and go on about my business :)

The candles appear great and are working well and look pretty at night. Battery life is one of the most important aspects of this type of candle to me and since we have only had them a short time can’t comment on the battery life.

The remote is really handy and I Iike the fact that they use AA batteries. I've had one in the shower for months now and no problem. Very impressed.

Good product; built in timer function is a great feature. The remote allows ease of adjusting between light and candle options and setting timers. Overall pleased with the product and would purchase again.
