Very useful to keep by the back door to identify birds. Much easier to use than a book. There aren't a lot of pictures or descriptions, but it's really nice to have as a quick reference.

I bought several of these. I think they are great for day hiking. They are small and light to go in my child's backpack. They are laminated, so no worries of it getting wet. If we see something during our hike. We can circle it (dry erase marker) and look it up when we get home.

I use this guide at home to identify birds visiting our bird feeder. It enables me to quickly identify the name of a bird so I can readily look up more info on that bird. Glad I bought it.
