R7s 118mm LED Bulb No Dimmable R7s 10W LED Lights Cool White Floodlight Spotlight Lamp Bulb, 800LM AC 220-240V Halogen Lamp Replacement(Pack of 2) [Energy Class A+++]

Initially ordered pack of 2 in Jan 2017Both fitted easily into 2 uplighters and worked as expected. In May one of them simply 'glowed'and wasn't working normally.Contacted supplier ( very easily done! Simply use the link via Amazon - 'contact this supplier') who almost immediately emailed an acknowledgement, apology and assurance that they would replace the faulty bulb (and also provide an additional one! ).True to their word, within a couple of days I received the Amazon package and replaced the faulty bulb. Worked as expected.Of course, I'm a tad apprehensive about bulb life but since the other bulb I'd installed in January is still working perfectly, I hope that I simply received a faulty bulb - these things do sometimes happen.However, the sign of a quality supplier isn't simply a supplier whose products never fail but it's a supplier who displays excellent customer service when things don't go as expected - and in my opinion, this supplier is quality!!!I'm certainly justified in giving 5* for customer service and I'm prepared to give an overall 5* cos I have confidence that whilst it's unlikely for a repeat problem, if it was to occur, the supplier would speedily resolve the problem. Thanks.PS I'd changed from halogen to this LED bulb and although it's not quite so bright, it's softer and certainly suitable.[...]

I have to admit to being slightly sceptical as to the suitable brightness of these LED bulbs, but I couldn't have been more wrong.These were bought to fit into outdoor security floodlights which originally used 500w halogen bulbs, which were later replaced with 27w fluorescent bulbs. Not only are these 10w LED's more energy efficient the light is much brighter than the previously used fluorescent bulbs.

This bulb gives a pleasant warm white light that is not as bright as the original halogen light. Since I am using this bulb in an uplighter for general ambience, I am satisfied with the brightness. This was the thinnest R7S LED bulb I could find, but the diameter was still too large to fit the receptacles in the uplighter. Fortunately, after making some modifications I managed to fit the bulb.After less than two months of use for a few hours each evening, the brightness of the bulb suddenly diminished to just a glow. hence a down grade to one star.Update: the company supplied me with a replacement bulb and asked me to consider upgrading my review. This third bulb also failed within a month of use. My conclusion is that these bulbs are not fit for purpose.

I love my LED's.!!!!Every bulb in the house is now converted. These were the last ones to go and they have ben reduced for 300 w down to 10 w. Admittedly they are nowhere near as bright as the 300 w but then they were always too bright for in the house anyway. (they are brighter than in the picture but the camera compensates)In addition these were the slimmest R7s bulbs that I could find as I needed that for the fitting.All in all these do exactly what I require of them and at a fraction of the running costs of the Halogen bulbs they have replaced.Perfect

A bit fatty...I guess it won't fit everywhere...temperature is rather between cold and warm rather than worm, most annoying thing is that the is quite noisy, I bought it to use in a recording studio and the microphone can pick up the humming coming from the lamp.Price, however, is very competitive and if it won't be used in quiet environment you won't notice the noise.

At last an LED replacement for the power-hungry halogen which fit easily into internal uplighter fittings unlike the first generation which stuck out like a sore thumb. Whilst they are not as bright as the 150W tubes, the light is being reflected from the wall/ceiling and as such give adequate illumination at a fraction of the running cost. I was really impressed with the build quality and now like another reviewer has stated, I look forward to a “15W version” for external use where more light is required.These are a delight.

For the life of me I can't find out how to report to the seller that both of these lamps have failed - and at almost exactly the same time. Used in a dual floodlight and not dimmed one has stopped working and the other is so dim I can only see it in pitch darkness. Very disappointing as I was hoping these would be a good replacement for the power hungry halogens they were replacing. If someone can point me in the direction of their customer service I'd like to request replacements. They lasted less than a month, clearly not the 30,000+ hours they're supposed to.1 star for now.Update: I have now been offered a refund so cannot fault the supplier but the product still proved not up to par.Upgraded to 3 stars because of the customer service - not the product although they assure me they're looking into product reliability.

Really disappointing, bought 4 bulbs in total and 1 didn't work as arrived (just put thatdown to one of those things), 2 of 4 have lasted approx. within 6 months they've stopped working. So based on a specified life of 30,000hrs, even operating 24 hours a day they should last 3.5years.Turns out to be a very expensive bulb when you account for there actual lifespan.I won't buy again, very disappointed.
