WEALLNERSSE Ear and Forehead Body Fever Thermometer Infrared Digital Non Contact for Baby and Adult

Had it for almost a year and a half now. It is being used by the whole family. It proved to be reliable. We are mostly measuring via ear, however the forehead measuring seems to be accurate too. Make sure the lens is clean (I just wipe it carefully with a piece of cotton t shirt) as a dirty lens will give off false readings.It is really useful to read instructions manual, as it tells how to use the thermometer correctly. Do not remember whether instructions manual came with it, however I easily found one online. I just learned that you can set it to also read surface temperatures up to 100°C (did not have a chance to see how accurate this function is though).A small negative is that you cannot switch off the beep sound or dim the screen for the quiet night readings. But at this price and accuracy perhaps one couldn't ask for more. :-)

In these uncertain times, this gadget has provided reassurance for me and my family. It's so easy to take the temperature on the forehead (not tried the ear method but I expect it's just as simple). I thought at first I was perhaps paying a lot for this but it's efficient and does the job so it's worth its weight in gold.

Good infra red.wasy to handle but numbers can’t always be read

Soooo much easier to use than any other type of thermometer. Buy as a present for new parents.Sick children and adults All prefer this type and no fiddling with covers or cleaning when multi using . I do recommend purchasing .

Obviously overpriced at time of purchase - certainly not worth £80.00 but its a case of needs must.Not the most accurate reading - about 1.5 to 2 degrees out compared to an "in ear" model but it will do the job as much as I need it to right now.

This thermometer is hugely inaccurate. We bought it to measure our newborn’s temperature instead of having to put something inside her ear. There were times when we thought the little one felt hot but we tested her temperature using this thermometer and all was normal. By chance we ended up trying a friends thermometer and it showed our little girl to have a 39c fever. We went home and immediately tested it using this one and it showed a normal 36c. We then went out and bought a third thermometer which showed our baby had 39c fever...!! Very dangerous to sell a thermometer that reads a fever as normal... incredibly dangerous for new parents trusting it on their newborn child. Thank god our child has never had a serious infection/virus... thank god.... it is irresponsible for Amazon to sell this dodgy product.

This thermometer was easy to use but I found the temperature readings to be too variable. For example, you could take a forehead reading of 36.8 degrees C. Taking another reading 30 seconds later would give a reading of 36.4 C and this variation would continue with each reading. This did not give me any confidence in the accuracy of the thermometer so I returned it and ordered a Braun Thermoscan 7 ear thermometer instead, which gives much more consistent results.

I’m usually had one thermometer, with sound and no light, but this product was doing the other way especially is warmer light and this is what I wanted it.I’m tried to tested it on the rice cooker and very accurate.Great product
