This is a good embroidery sampler set -- three projects that work together to teach you a variety of embroidery stitches. With the completion of each project you'll have learned some stitches and created an interesting design as well. These projects are a bit more interesting and fulfilling than the stitch samplers that only feature the stitches as you learn them.It comes packed at one set, with several bags, wrapped together with a single plastic hoop. First you have your needles, small (almost unusable, but very standard) scissors, a seam ripper, a needle threader, and two small poms. I have no idea what the poms are for. Another bag holds all the floss for all three projects, neatly separated and numbered. The remaining three bags each hold one design-printed fabric and a folded piece of paper that features the instructions for the designs.Now, the fabric is of decent quality for embroidery. The edges aren't seamed, so you may want to consider taping them, but there is a lot of free space, so unless the fabric starts unraveling on you it should be safe. The instructions have: stage-numbered pictures, written instructions, and a QR code to demonstrate each stitch. Each instruction sheet also shows how to thread a needle and how to start and stop your stitching. Each instructional page has a large, legible image with each stitch clearly marked as to what color thread to use, and how many strands to use to complete the stitching.I'm not terribly experienced at embroidery, but I do do other needle crafts. While there are some difficult aspects to parts of this kit -- including small print my old eyes might need some extra glasses for, and the fact that I might have to look up the stitches with their QR codes to really 'get' a stitch here and there, overall, I really like this kit. I'm not sure how transparent it would be to an absolute beginner to needle crafts, but if you're branching into embroidery and are comfortable with a needle in hand, this kit should be a good one to learn the basic embroidery stitches and to get some embroidery projects under your belt!

This is a great starter kit. Has all the basic items needed to learn to embroider. This kit did have the needles included as shown. The scissors are rudimentary and will do in a pinch, but you'd be better off spending a little money to get a better pair. Lots of patterns to use for learning different stitch types. The hoop is plastic which is OK for starting out. Better quality sets would have a wood hoop, but again this is a starter kit.

I ordered the "Ponpon 3 Sets Embroidery Kit for Beginners, Embroidery Kit for Adults with Follow Instruction, Cross Stitch Kits with Wooden Embroidery Hoops (Stlye B)."It is a good embroidery kit made to teach you how to make different stitches. The description is misleading, so it makes you think you'll get three wooden embroidery hoops, you get one, and it is plastic.Other than that, the mini scissors that come with the kit are pretty worthless, so you'll want to provide your own.Having said that, the kit itself is nice. Each printed fabric primer (what you practice the stitches on,) is nicely printed and separately packaged with the instructions. The instructions have drawings of the most important part of making the stitch plus written instructions on how to make it. Each stitch has a QR code with it for those who need more visual instruction.I love the colors and I love the printed primers, they really help me keep the stitches from getting lopsided.

Vine reviewer here giving you my honest hands-on review and inspection of the product you are considering.This beginner's sampler gives you that basic stitches, and some not so basic stitches, for embroidery. You get everything you need to begin and finish the three designs included. There is a QR code that takes you to a youtube channel that shows you how to do the stitch. Now I only went to the first one, and there were no verbal instructions, just visual. I don't know if that is how they all are. The instructions do include written directions, but sometimes you need to see it being done, so the video is nice. However, videos can be removed, which happened to me when I bought a crocheted animal to make. The directions were all online, until it was taken down.The written directions are okay, I wish they were bigger, my eyes really struggle to read the print, which is kind of thick and messy. But I can manage using my glasses or my phone😁. I can't wait to get started.

I found the written instructions subpar. Very hard to understand and I cannot find the the QR code for the YouTube channel someone had mentioned in an earlier review. Thank god for YouTube overall, but I was looking for an all inclusive experience with step by step to be sure I learned properly. I’m now just winging it and hoping the numbered string didn’t mean anything .
