Great ingredients but strong taste
I bought this product because I have fallen in love with the House of Mistry lately and all their organic, nutrient rich, chemical free hair and beauty products. The tooth gel was purchased as an attempt to help some painful tooth sensitivity which has been caused by receeding gums.I have heard that neem is used a lot in ayurvedic medicine as it's supposed to be good for healing. I've been so impressed with the "aloe jojoba" shampoo and conditioner by this company that I couldn't wait to see if this would be the answer to my dental issues. It comes in a large squeezy tube containing a generous amount of product. The gel itself is clear and not runny at all.The taste of this gel is very strong fennel and I personally really don't like fennel so have ended up putting a bit of this on my toothbrush along with my regular toothpaste which hides the fennel rather well. Hopefully this will still allow me the same benefits without the gagging!Since using this my gums do feel more healthy and more of a pinkish colour. It is hard to say if the improvement is down to this product alone as I have been trying out a combination of remedies but this one feels the most soothing of them all on application as the thickness of the gel works to sort of block the raw nerve endings. It probably wouldn't substitute regular sensitive toothpaste for me but nor is it designed to. It's just a great addition to my oral hygene routine to hopefully give a little boost to my gum health.I just wish I could stand the taste of fennel, then I would probably smear it around the gum line and leave it overnight for maximum benefit.
