It works pretty good! I'm impressed. It's got a good warrentee. Seems like a good machine. Comes with a sac and a nice box.

It works. However, the readings would jump from 0.012 to 0.056 within one hour of not drinking. Random readings. Bottom line it does help to prevent driving.. you're either zero or you're not.

The alcohol meter level is just that: in the breath. It is what the police will use to judge whether they need to do a blood test on you. You can learn from this device just how long you need to wait to get your breath down to a respectable level. And just after consuming quite a small amount (e.g. one drink) you can be over the limit. In these days of reduced permissible levels, that is really useful. Very useful indeed.

Easy to use and I believe is very accurate and will definitely let you know whether you're safe to drive or not. I highly recommend getting one of these let alone for understanding how your body and anyone else's, is effected by alcohol over a period of time. Great for both recreational use and for determining whether I can let people drive from my house after drinking! This alcohol meter has saved some friends (and myself) from potential. Excellent all round purchase.

Withholding judgement! The new one the company sent me seems to be working better- I will get back after I compare it to a real brethalyzer. Old review: After receiving the product I drank two 16 oz beers. I then waited 30 minutes without anything to eat or drink and used the breathalyzer. I tested 3 times with a wait time of 5 minutes between each test. Despite feeling the affect of the beer the breathalyzer read 0.00 each time. Its clearly not accurate.

Personally I have adopted a zero drinking and driving regime because the limit is so low and I cannot afford to lose my licence and career however, I have many good friends who will visit me and have a drink and then drive home. In the past I have tried to work out whether I think they are over the limit or not and have tried to persuade those that I think are over the limit to stay the night. Even then if they drink a lot and stay, they might still be over the limit in the morning. I am not sure of the law and have just researched if you are in any way responsible for your friends’ actions if you have served them alcohol in your home.

Purchased about 3 months ago and have been pleased with the alcohol tester. I purposely used it after 1 beer and then 2. I carefully obtained the readings so I know my baseline drinking measures. This device offers the feeling of security BEFORE you get into your car and If you should call for a ride. I make sure I'm 2one hundredths differential before I leave.

Recommended by a friend and it works brilliantly. Initial setup took 20 mins, but it was easy enough to follow the instructions. This breathalyzer test is small, easy to use and accurate. It means you can jump into the car in the morning without worrying about getting stopped instead of avoiding eye contact with every passing cop car. Simple piece of mind.
