Loved it!!
Did I stay up way too late to finish this, well yes, yes I did, thank you for noticing!Regan is running away, she decided to go to her sister who now lives in Scotland, their relationship hasn't been good these past two years and she knows she is at blame. She is ready to take responsibility for her past mistakes and hopes to stay with her even if it's only for a short period.Thane is her sister's new brother in law and neighbor. He is a single dad who is looking for a nanny without any luck yet.Regan wants to stay in Scotland and needs a job, Thane has a job for her, this seems like a perfect fit, or is it?Reagan was a wonderful, misunderstood and very complicate character but so she was also very strong and brave.Their chemistry is incredible but Thane doesn't want to let his guard down, the age difference and the fact that she is his kids beloved nanny works against him. He was scared to love again and more so to admit it.The romance was a slow burn but delicious so, I think everything happened at the right time. Thane was reluctant to start a relationship but he was so easy to love. The the kids were adorable and the relationship between Regan and the kids was the absolute best.I absolutely loved how Regan and Robyn talked things trough and especially how they became close again. The book is a romantic suspense, Regan has a secret and a reason for running and it is all revealed timely.

Great sequel
I actually enjoyed this book more than it’s predecessor. This was more of a gentle romance. There was always the tension in the background of someone returning from the past, as in the first book, but it wasn’t as acutely felt.I loved Regan’s dedemption.

An Emotional Rollercoaster!!
I pre-ordered this book after having loved the 1st in this series "Here with Me".I had high expectations for this book, and let me tell you there were exceeded. I cannot recommend this book enough, if it's the only book you buy this year then it will be the best decision you made this year! The storyline follows Regan, a mid twenties girl with a reputation that proceeds her. She is known for being a little wild, a little carefree and a tad selfish. However nothing as they say is ever as it seems. Regan is running from a series of bad choices to her sister Robyn who is loved up and living in Ardnoch a small remote village in Scotland, there she meets Thane, a man in his late thirties, not without his own troubling demons from the past. I do not want to give anything away about this book, more that you really have to read it first hand to get the full experience of the emotions. I felt so many different things whilst reading this, laugher, floods of tears, heartbreak, love, literally every emotion. Samantha has this way of drawing you into a storyline and it makes you forget about the outside world for hours. These characters are no different, you want to root for them, you want to smack them for their errors in judgement and you want to laugh with them. Absolutely outstanding story!!!

Scottish Second chances, and facing the truth
A fabulously enjoyable hot second in this series. Old characters trickle through the storyline, essential to the whole book. The Adair family are a very close loyal clan. Lachlan and Robyn romance and journey is mentioned. Their characters develop, but this is not their story, it is Thane the second eldest brother and Regan , Robyn’s sister. Other Brothers are mentioned , and hopefully we will get to encounter them more, as well as their sister. Regan joins her sister in the remote highland estate, and finds herself employed as Thane’s nanny. The two children of Thane are adorable, and the descriptions of their characters are so realistic. As are all of the characters. Love develops, but with strings attached. For some this is an escape from reality, and for others, when in love you may except any rules. Thane has a past to battle with, and Regan a past that has never been accepted. It is so well written, that again very difficult to put down. There is romance that sets the pages on fire with warmth and passion. There is drama and suspense that again is knuckle biting. However the emotions, human reactions and compassion that flows through the words are so intoxicating, it leaves the reader most definitely wanting more. A wait is necessary for the next instalment, but as ever with this exceptional author it will be well worth it.

What's not to love about a hunky man in a kilt!
Regan Penhaligon, Robyn's younger sister, had always been the wild child of the family. Robyn felt like she had been the one always there for her, rather than her parents. When Regan arrived at Ardnoch out of the blue, after not being heard from in nearly 18 months, the relationship between the sisters was tense to say the least.Robyn resented the fact that Regan had disappeared when she was recovering from being shot, and with everything else that had happened in the time between she didnt know if they would be able to repair their relationship. To give themselves a chance Regan decided to stay in Scotland for the full 6 months of her visitor Visa, but to do that she needed a job.Thane, Laughlan's younger brother was searching for a nanny, to no avail. Robyn had the idea that Regan could step in with her previous experience and that way they would be helping each other. The idea was a great plan, only life has a way of making situations more complicated!Fab story, more great descriptions of the Scottish countryside, lots of love laughter and drama in the mix. Can't wait for the next in the series.

Absolutely love Than and Regan - totally addicted to The Adair Family Series!
4.5 “Loyal Au Mort.” “mo leannan” “Dirty. Little. Secret.” KissesI truly love what Samantha Young’s books do to me. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on There With You after finishing Here With Me - it’s the second book in the Adair Family Series and once you meet this family, you’ll totally get what I’m talking about. This world and these men are a-d-d-i-c-t-i-v-e! Big time! I love that it’s based in Scotland and I love everything about the way that Samantha is putting together this series and this family. The characters just seep into your heart and mind and never let go and I live for it. All I wanted to do was read these two (and I picked the worst time to start reading them because I was so busy I didn’t have time to read – which is the WORST!!! Especially when you’re viciously addicted to what you’re reading! #BookWormProblems) But it did force me to savor everything that was Regan and Thane...and that, I really cannot be mad about – cause these two deserve to be savored. So...million dollar question – since this is a series, do the books need to be read in order? Technically...no, each book is about a separate couple and while events that happen in Here With Me trail over into There With You (literally where HWM ends is directly when TWY picks up), everything is completely explained and while you won’t know everything that happened with Lachlan and Robyn, it’s not the end of the world. I do however highly recommend reading Here With Me because it was absolutely fantastic and one of my favorite reads of 2021. Everything about There With You called to me and I was so excited to see what was in store for Regan and Thane...and they truly captivated my heart.Regan Demelza Penhaligon...so, I’ll be honest, after Here With Me I had my own thoughts/feelings about Regan because of Robyn’s feelings about her and what had happened between them...and they weren’t all positive. I didn’t want to judge her and I was ready and willing to hear her side and while it may not be the way I would have wanted her to handle the situation, I get it. Everyone handles stress and triggers differently...the fact that she was trying to be better and do better for her and Robyn’s relationship showed me a lot of progress and growth and I appreciated that about her character. And I feel like that was kind of the overall theme for Regan’s journey...showing her growth and maturity, as well as figuring out what she wanted for her life, what made her happy and what was important to her. I loved how much she fell in love with Scotland...I loved seeing her flourish with all the relationships she formed, especially her reconnection with Robyn (and I loved that she called her Robbie). I think because she’s the ‘baby sister’ living in Robyn’s shadow and being basically her complete opposite, she got unfairly labeled and almost pigeonholed into being a certain way when all of her actions proved otherwise. I really loved her character and seeing how far she came.“I’m starting to see what you mean about her,” I heard him say. That drew my attention. “What does that mean?” As I climbed down the ladder, Robyn said, “I told Lachlan you could charm the pants off a Russian dictator. I blame the dimples.”At her fond teasing, a rush of warmth filled my chest and I jumped off the last rung to face her with a big grin. “What, these?” I pointed to my dimples. “It is not my fault fairies put fairy dust pockets in my cheeks.”Thane Tavin Stuart Adair...oh these Adair men are not for the faint of heart. They’re beautiful, charming, have an amazing accent and look darn good in a kilt...but they’re insanely stubborn and sometimes their own worst enemy. But I love them despite it! As much as I saw the similarities in Thane and Lachlan (which is not a bad thing at all!)...Thane is not his brother. He’s been a husband, he is a father (and an amazing one at that) and while his family has lived a privileged life, he is not famous or rich...he’s just a single dad and architect. I cannot tell you how much I loved Thane for the way he loved his children...he is such a dedicated father, they are his top priority and it shines through every one of his actions. But he is not only a father...and I think that’s part of what Thane is trying to figure out. After everything that happens with Thane’s wife, I understood his fear...I may not have liked some of his decisions and the way he handled certain things with Regan, but I got why he reacted the way he did. Just because he is older than her doesn't mean Thane isn't going through his own struggles just as much as Regan is.‘Too much trouble? That was an understatement.Regan was trouble. But only because he wanted her.Like really, really was seriously lusting after her.His nanny. His brother’s soon-to-be sister-in-law.His employee, thirteen years his junior.’Regan and Thane...are forbidden magnets drawn together and I looooooved the angst they created together. I am a huge taboo love and between the age gap, the boss/employee, the fact that his brother and her sister are engaged...it was all too delicious for words and I was here for every moment of it. I am a self-proclaimed angst whore...I live for couples who tie my heart up in knots and make me yearn and hurt for them. I don’t know what it was specifically about Thane and Regan that got me so good...but I truly felt myself angst’d to the point of actual tears – and I loved it! It’s been a while since I felt something that intense and I really can only attribute it to the power of this couple. Despite all the things on paper that shouldn’t work between them...it was effortless from the first moment. They found a way to be both insanely hot and completely adorable...which sounds like it shouldn’t work, but once again – for them it just did. I loved that they truly built something together...they had a good working relationship that developed into a friendship that progressed into something undeniable.‘God, I loved him so much. He had such a big heart. Caressing his chest where said heart beat a little fast within, I asked, for perhaps the hundredth time, “What does ma le-ow-nin mean?”He was quiet for a moment as he stroked my upper arm with his fingertips. “Does the meaning matter?”’Samantha Young blows me away each and ever time and I could not adore her more if I tried. Her sexy Scots always get me and these Adair men are just too amazing for words. I cannot help how much I love this family and what Samantha is doing with their stories. I’ll be honest, I’ve never been a huge romantic suspense lover but Samantha writes it PERFECTLY for me...it’s just enough to engage me but it doesn’t overwhelm the story and just take over. There is action and drama and the way Samantha incorporates it, it’s perfectly timed and adds so much to the overall story – I just truly can’t believe how much I’m enjoying it. Plus, the couples themselves – I loooooove the she is doing age gaps for all the couples as well as a hint of other taboo (like best friends' daughter/best friend with Lachlan and Robyn – boss/employee with Thane and Regan), I never would have thought of doing these combinations but clearly, it’s genius because I love it so much!“You know I’m not going anywhere. I don’t want to be anywhere else.” I exhaled a shaky breath, desperation taking control. “I don’t want anyone else but you.”The ending was...good, not my favorite – but still solid. I really liked everything that happened and the way that it happened, but it really felt rushed. The last 8% SO much happens and I felt like I was just trying to keep up...I really wanted Thane and Regan to have more of a reconciliation then they did, especially after everything that went on. It didn’t stop me from loving the way everything came together...and the epilogue seriously made me too happy for words. I’m so excited for Always You - especially after the little hints that were dropped about Arrochar and Mac in There With You! I can’t even imagine what Samantha has in store for these two but I can’t wait to read it! #TakeMeToArdnoch #AddictedToTheAdairs
