JL AUDIO 12" Subwooder 12W0V2-4 300W (12W0V2) 12" 4-Ohm

I bought this for my new car and was waiting on a wiring harness for my radio. In the mean time I installed it in my wife's Scion xB to make sure it works. I just ordered a 2nd one because she said it's staying in her car. I paired it with a sealed box 1.3 cubic feet made my scosche (SE12CC). You can feel the hair on your head stand up when the bass hits. I have it running off of a mono Alpine amp (MRP-M450) pushing 220W @ 4 ohms. (The amp is discontinued so I ordered the MRP-M500 for myself.) I have never heard cleaner bass from anything other than a JL and plan to stick with them. And at 300W it doesn't seem to put a lot of strain on the battery. (I have a 1 Farad Capacitor but didn't even bother to hook it up.)

So i purchased this sub with the sole purpose of installing it on a Home Theater Subwoofer enclosure. I am currently only using a 100w plate amp until i get the 200w one, but i must say WOW! This sub was able to reach 107dB on a 1.88 cu. ft enclosure. The subwoofer is not tuned yet. currently is tuned to 33hz, but when i increase the ports, i shall be able to go to 28hz with no problems. The construction of this speaker is just impecable. It looks hot, and the sound is solid. Best $89 i spent on a subwoofer. I would recomend it. JL subs have never failed me and i have used them for over 9 yrs.i was debating between this and the Infinity 1250w, and i am not sorry about my purchase.

They sent me the W0v3. Not the v2 so i got a good deal seeing how the v3 runs about $150 but i thought the enclosure was including but it turns out its not.

I just purchased this sub I hope it works better then my alpine type r I had it for 2 months and it blew because I had it in a double ported box my buddy recommended this to us because he's a huge jl audio fan so hope it last longer then the alpine type r

Get them! I have one in my Jeep Grand Cherokee, pushed by 420watt PPI amp. Sounds like 2! There is a break in period. The first week in use it got better and louder every day.

Finally doing my review after like 5 years. THEY STILL ARE AMAZING

I have 9 cars all with at least two subs in them and I have two of these in my ford ranger. My ranger sounds better than any of the other cars do, some combined....maybe its the build of the ranger but either way these are the best subs i've bought yet....im stickin with these for every other purchase and i hope u do too
