Leucidal SF Liquid is a natural preservative derived from the ferment of radish root. Radishes are fermented with a lactic acid bacteria called Leuconostoc kimchii. Leucidal liquid (radish root) is designed to provide gentle protection against bacteria, mold and yeasts. Leucidal radish root is an excellent natural alternative to synthetic preservatives. Appearance: light fragrance, pale yellow in color and soluble in water. You must always test your formulation to determine the exact percentage of preservative needed. Liquid Leucidal is a mild preservative and may not completely protect against all bacteria, yeasts and molds. Depending on your formulation, you may need to add another preservative to fully protect your product. Recommended use rate: 2 to 4%.
