BucktonsFat/Energy/Suet Balls, Pack of 150, green

Well, the reviews said it was good and my word the Bucktons fat balls are great. The birds love them. No wonder they come on a big box. My birds are getting through 3 per day (2 on the bird table and 1 in the hanging feeder). Up until now I wasn’t convinced that birds were interested in them at all. My previous purchase was from a good quality garden centre and I’ve still got them. I suppose I’d better throw them away.If you want fat balls that birds will eat buy these.By the way mine were delivered without any damage at all. They come in cellophane packs of 6 in a strong cardboard box.Update. These fat balls are a beast. I am using on average 6 balls a day now (9th June) I’ve only got 5 packs left that’s 30 put of 150. Time to reorder.

The fatballs arrived all fully intact in separate packs of six. The birds love them, in fact they love them a bit too much! I am having to renew my feeder almost every third day.

Whenever I put these in my feeders, within an hour or two the garden is invaded by well over a dozen rooks and jackdaws. A very lively bunch and always amusing to watch. The sparrows and robins really love them too; we hide their feeder under an overhanging honey suckle so the voracious corvids can't find it and hog it all for themselves.

I ordered these just to try them for the quality, I normally buy the bucktons superior fat balls. I won't buy these again, they're predominantly suet and oats with very little seeds and appear very dry, the birds are very slow to eat them whereas the superior ones attract many more birds and there's literally no waste. ☹️ . Back to the superior ones for the extra cost.
