I love everything about my gilet it’s warm comfortable but smart I wear with shirt, t-shirt and jumper !! Love it

Fully into Autumn and with winter arriving soon, going for walks or just out casually means taking a good jacket with you but with this vest jacket, it not only has the smart look you want for dressing casually but it is also light and effective when just in the home and office for casual wear, the warmth from this is as good as any of my full hoodie tops. The material is lovely and soft but kept me warm against wind and cold air very well without ever becoming overly hot either outside or inside. Green is not usually a colour I go for but was complimented by friends and family when wearing it. There is also a fully sleeved version which I also have for outdoor wearing and honestly love them both. They are so comfortable to wear and the fit is spot on even with my rugby player size broad shoulders. Extremely happy to recommend both styles.

It's not the most stylish Urban-Dwelling Millennial get-up, sure, but it's great for dog walking and well-hidden over a shirt and under a jacket when you need to brave the cold. Not that it doesn't look good too; it is high quality fleece in a lovely forest green colour, with a brown leather trim. I imagine it will last a very long time. Highly recommended.

I was genuinely surprised by the quality with it coming through the program. I do find it an all round quality item.It's genuinely great quality, the material is comfortable and warm-ish. The zips are all smooth and feel strong and durable. They seem like they'll hold up a good while with a lot of use.The pockets are a good size as well.Everything's just generally great quality. The leather feels good and not cheap.It's reasonably warm but as it's not that thick, it's not like a full on outdoor outer jacket. But as an extra layer for those days when something with thick long sleeves is just too much, it's ideal to help keep temperatures balanced.I was expecting it to be over priced but I don't think it is. It's a solid sleeveless fleece vest.

BushWear is clearly a brand trying to compete with well established quality brands. The £39.99 price fits above mainstream brands but below premium brands. The gilet is well made but to me the quality of materials is very mainstream.The fleece material is very soft and provides a good level of secondary layer warmth. The high collar and the drawcord in the hem provide a warm snug fit. The two pockets are a generous size and very usefully they are zipped. All the zips are robust and along with the seams, well stitched. The main double zip on the front takes getting used to. When correctly aligned it works well allowing for top and bottom opening. I have some concern with the leatherette piping. Clearly this a styling influenced by other brands. If genuine leather had been used, this would be fine. My past experience with man made "leather" is that it is prone to cracking. I would be happier with a good quality woven fabric.My biggest criticism is the sizing. The manufacturer's size guide goes against UK, European and US measurement conventions. I have a 39 inch chest, 32 waist and went for my usual medium based on my interpretation of the size guide. The gilet is a little large to wear over just a shirt and a thick pullover would be tight.I awarded an average 3 stars; at a lower price point I would have given 4.I hope you found this review useful.If you have a question, I always try to respond when Amazon forwards them to me.

You can never be sure what is going to arrive when you order clothes online but this is a good quality gilet. The material is a lovely soft fleece. It is very well made with good stitching and piping and it has a great quality zipper. There are two pockets to warm your hands.The fleece itself is excellent with good workmanship and nice material. The only warning I would give is that the sizing is a little on the large side. Almost all of my clothes are a medium size so that is what I ordered. However, it does feel slightly big and if I ordered it again I would go for a size smaller.It is still a very nice item and very comfortable as an extra layer under a coat.

I ordered XXL for my dad and it fits him well. It's really good quality and very well made.Although it's lightweight, it really does keep him warm and it's a good length too so keeps his back nice and covered, even when he's bending over.It's been through the wash several times now and is still as good as new.He's really pleased with it and would be happy to recommend.

So did it fit - nope, as to why!There is no sizing guide on the page, and I try to go with the guide over just picking normal as I hover between L and XL (well I tell myself that) and so with no guide on the advert I did the next best thing and went on their site, and dutifully measured against guides there for a SHOOTERKING PERFORMANCE FLEECE GILET and I sat between a XL and 2XL so I got the 2XL.It's arrived and all I can think is their sizing is for people in denial as its way too big I have 7 inches of girth that I can add over xmas and still fit in it!Quality wise, very nice piping means its will stand the test of time and the fleece feels really good quality, double zipped and good zip sized and gapping so unlikely to snag.So final thoughts really nice top spoilt by poor sizing (well none actually) but if they don't put sizing up and you use the same guide as me then go two sizes smaller and you will be about right.Stars lost are purely on fitting issues not the product.
