I LOVE this necklace & have worn it since April '12 - the colors, the message & the uniqueness are great, however as time went on I noticed that the silver & gold colors have worn off leaving a dull silver color for the shema wreath, the gold star of david is lost all its color & is also a dull silver color.With that said I never showered with it, or got it wet; I also took it off at night before bed, so I was not wearing it 24 hours a day. So I am little disappointed in that respect. I was expecting much better quality. I have had it for 7 months from the time of this posting & I have to clean it few times a week to keep the green tarnish from staining my skin.With that said, I still wear it everyday - if you don't mind tarnishing, then go ahead & buy.

I was shocked at how inexpensive this pendant was. I found out why it is so cheap a few weeks after wearing it... the "gold" started rubbing off. That's fine with me, but if you're looking for a piece that will hold up, it's definitely not this piece. The chain is a rope design so it holds up well to the pulling my 1 year-old puts it through. It hits my neck at an attractive place so I can wear it with a lot of tops.

I originally bought this necklace for myself. When it arrived, I fell in love with it. Chain was perfect size for me. My sister loved it so much that I gave it to her and ordered myself another one. When the second one came in, it was much larger than the first one. The chain was too long and the pendant was too big for me. I prefer smaller rather than larger. I was so disappointed. I am sending the second one back. I really want one exactly like the original one I ordered but now I am afraid to purchase a 3rd time because I'm not sure what you will send.

I purchased this necklace as a replacement for a previous identical necklace. This necklace surprised me by being nicer than the necklace I was replacing. It is a heavier metal than I had expected, and over the past 5 days at least it hasn't made me break out from my nickel allergy.-----The part holding the pendant on broke after 2 months. I will not be buying another one.

The Shema Isreal Necklace with Star of David is extremely beautiful and the chain is of very nice quality, but I can not recommend this product for an adult. The chain is not large enough for an adult's neck,but may fit a child around the age of seven quite nicely. I love this necklace and am at odds as to if I should return it, or spend more money on a chain that actually fits.

I love it. It's beautiful but two things. 1) The necklace itself is EXTREMELY small, you'll have to use the pendant with another necklace unless your neck is the size of your wrist. 2) After a couple of months the golden color goes away and the silver part also starts to fade. So beware. You get what you pay for but it's a beautiful necklace.

This necklace was a great price, and my son asked for it for Hanukkah, so I gladly got it for him. Unfortunately the chain broke the first time he wore it. The star charm flew off and he was not able to find it, but he managed to get the chain and the Shema charm. I was relieved, as that charm is a little more unique than a star of David, which I can find just about anywhere. The good news is that the Shema charm is sturdy, so I got my son a new chain and put the charm on it for him. However, he's now afraid to wear it because he doesn't want the new chain to break. I would definitely recommend spending more money to get something more durable.

The charm looks just like it is pictured, small. I am an adult and cannot wear the necklace. What I did was an easy solution.I gave the necklace to my 9yr old daughter and purchased a small cross charm. As for Shema Israel charm, I was able to put it on a longer silver chain and now I wear it everyday. Easy solution. Nothing was thrown away. It is nice just not described by seller as a short necklace or for person of smaller frame or petite slim adult. However it is beautiful.
