ARTISTE Acrylic Paint (2oz) -Sanguine, 3.4 x 3.4 x 9.9 cm

Absolutely rubbish buyer beware. Read the reviews very carefully as most refer to a normal paint colour and not this crackle glaze which is very misleading. I have tried with 2 surfaces and 3 paint colours to make this crackle. I’ve tried using heat and not using heat and none of the variations have worked at all, not one crack!! I’d give this zero stars but there’s no option. It should not be for sale. Definitely buy another brand. I bought this as a cheap option as I only needed a small amount for a project but it was a waste of money and time, don’t waste yours.

Perfect for air dry clay use. Gives a really nice shine to finished projects and brings out the colours well. Excellent value for money compared to other companies I researched. Shame the bottle had generic acrylic paint instructions rather than specific to the varnish. All round happy with my purchase

Even as an "add on" item I would say this is a waste of money and unfortunately I brought two.Have today tried it on a third project and still no crackling effect.I'm not a novice at crackling. The other brand of crackle medium I'm using works great.Don't waste your time with this one!

Bottle instructions require the use of a heat tool to “encourage the cracking”, as the project I was working on had heat sensitive parts I was unable to use this. There is also no indication of what levels of heat are required or even at what point to heat it (Before or after the top layer of paint is fully dry?)Product *may* work franticly, but in this case was useless for what I needed.

Got for a quick project and it’s 60ml .., doesn’t say it’s permanent /waterproof but I used on a painted terracotta pot where I store water and put flowers on it !! It stays good, no bleeding or anything so far... thumbs up!!

I tested the item multiple ways even trying to apply heat to promote the crackle effect with no avail. The instructions were not too clear either on how to use the item. I wouldn't purchase this item again.

The bottle of matt varnish arrived promptly and it works as varnish and is matt. However, I wanted it to be invisible like pva glue is. It was fine over red oil pastel in my sketchbook, but applied to acrylic and black oil pastel on my canvas it just would not dry to invisible but left whitish marks. i thought maybe I did not wait long enough, having despaired and tried to scrub it all off again, but when I did another test it still left a whitish deposit altering the dark colour. So, I'd say just test carefully to be sure it is o.k. over the colour you have used.

Very nice product but it is quite thin if you want the colour very bold and strong. I was hoping it would come out as a more whiter shade of pearl but instead it's quite grey. The pearlescenct shine is most definitely there though.

So far so good, I really want a Matt white as I’d run out. But this a good paint so far first time trying the make and reasonably priced.

Second time I have bought the paint, so it must work. Found the size better than tubes (about twice as much) for my model railway setup.

Absolute waste of money, followed the instructions precisely and it didn't do as advertised.

Unfortunately this was very thick and hard to use. The red I ordered at the same time was perfect.

Great paint, used to paint a wooden house craft project. Dries relatively quickly.

Brought as a present he really enjoys them. Lasted ages once opened colour was clear and perfect consistency
