Nordic Natural Ultimate Omega is a high quality product.
This product is exceptional. After seeing a co-worker’s triglycerides and cholesterol levels go from dangerously high to very normal and he said this was the only change he made, I decided to try it myself and take advantage of all the research he had done on different products. My doctor had wanted to put me on meds for triglycerides and cholesterol, but I told her to give me 6 months or so and re-check. After seven months both levels were normal. (I had been taking krill oil from a local drug company for a long time and my levels had climbed as I aged....so all products are not equal!). Two years later and my doctor says I am in great health and still no need for those meds which she had thought I needed two Lear’s ago.

Great Triglyceride formulation
Great Triglyceride formulation. If you don't know the difference between a good quality Omega-3 and a store brand then do more research. The Triglyceride formula is more readily absorbed into the body. If it is a non-triglyceride formula your body is only absorbing a third of the Omega-3's you are taking in. No fishy taste. Read the independent, scientific studies you'll see what I'm talking about.

Hate fishy burps? You won't have them with these.
QUICK SUMMARY: No fishy burps; pleasant, very mild lemon taste.BACKGROUND: I'm ramping up my dedication to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Mostly, that means 1) portion control when eating, 2) avoiding a lot of sweets, 3) choosing lots of fresh veggies and fruits, 4) plenty of exercise, and 5) choosing a few diet supplements - but only a few. This is one of them. Why? I'd like to think that the hype about fish oil isn't too far from the truth. And while I think *eating fish* is much better than taking a *fish oil supplement*, I don't eat a lot of fish in my diet (it's expensive!). So, I'm willing to pay a premium for a high quality fish oil for, hopefully, long-term health benefits.NOTE: I read Internet articles and bloggers saying that the American Heart Association says good things about fish oil supplements, so I went to their website (search: 'American Heart Association fish oil supplement recommendation' or similar to find the AHA's FAQs for "Questions about Fish"). Here's what the AHA actually says about fish oil supplements: "Consuming fish oil supplements should only be considered by people with heart disease or high levels of triglycerides who consult with their physicians." Get that? The AHA actually does NOT recommend taking fish oil supplements unless you have a heart-related health problem. Buyer beware! (That said, I'm still planning on taking these supplements, but only one tablet per day, not the two tablets recommended on the bottle).WHAT I LIKE:- Based upon others' research, this seems like an excellent fish oil supplement provider- The tablets have a mild, lemon taste to them- I, unfortunately, tend to burp not infrequently after a meal. (Sorry if that's TMI). Instead of getting a fishy aftertaste from my CVS-branded fish oil supplement (which is much less expensive, though not as concentrated as Nordic Natural), I get a very mild lemon aftertaste, as if I had eaten a lemon drop earlier in the day.There's nothing to dislike about the product, really. I hope it works - that is, I hope in the long run I avoid heart disease and my mental acuity doesn't fail me.CONCLUSION: If you plan on taking fish oil supplement, realize you really don't have to if you eat properly, include fish in your diet, and exercise regularly (and you don't have a heart problem). The AHA doesn't actually recommend fish oil supplements for healthy people. But if you, like me, still think that these supplements can help you improve or maintain good health, then it's probably better to spend money to get a high-quality supplement, like Nordic Natural, than a cheap, drugstore-quality bottle.

and this is the best price we've found
My husband and I have been using these for about a year now, and this is the best price we've found. They work well for muscle aches, and we have completely quit taking any sort of other meds like Aleve or Ibuprofen for pain. Good stuff!

The only fish oil I will buy
Hands down the best fish oil.I have used their product over the past decade and will only buy Nordic Naturals. They don't taste super fishy and I notice a difference when I don't take them. I also like hint of citrus flavor.If you're looking for a fish oil supplement, this is the one.

A++
I take 6 of these a day (3x daily, per doctor's instructions), and I can swallow two at a time easily. These are the first fish oil pills I have ever taken, and I have had no discomfort, no burping, and no fishy taste. These are perfect! I'm not sure how to tell if they are working, mind you (I think it's more about the long-term effects), and they are quite expensive, but I do believe that this is the highest-quality fish oil product available. I will continue taking this product as long as my doctor recommends it.
