CD Project SprinTech Road Race Bike Mirror in Black - Twinset

This is a really useful set of 2x mirrors for a road racing bike fitted with curved drop-bars, to which it's normally near-impossible to fit rear-view mirrors. You push the fittings into the bar-ends and then attach each mirror via a ball-joint.The mirrors are plastic with metal lenses instead of glass. This gives them a cheap feel, but the design is excellent. When positioned correctly they give a great rear view which can easily be adjusted when you change your riding position. They do not move, wobble or vibrate when you ride over bumps on a rough road surface.Caution: As bike mirrors go they're small, with a convex lens offering a wide field of view: it takes time to get used to vehicles appearing distant even when they're close behind.The mirrors are not identical: there is a left and a right one, with in each case the long curve to the outside. If you inadvertently fit them the wrong way round, they still work as mirrors but just don't look right. However it's easy to swap them over; just pull the ball-joint out & push it back into the socket fitting on the other bar.

I thought about mirrors for my bike for some time but I did not want anything that stuck up / out from the handlebars or anything too obtrusive. These are ideal as they simply plug into the ends of the handlebars. Properly adjusted they give an idea of what is behind but do not replace the need to carefully check over your shoulder before manoeuvres at junctions, overtaking parked vehicles, etc. They are especially useful when cycling in a group because you can keep an eye on who is coming up behind when you do not always hear them. You will, inevitably, hit them with your knee from time to time but they are very quickly and easily readjusted on the move.

Great mirrors! Unlike the ones that strap on the bar, these have little to no vibration which makes viewing easy. I used them in the dark too. Easy to move into position whilst riding. They're not slack and screw/ bolts free. The ball joint fits right and snug. Excellent product, worth the money!
