Our dog got one of the pieces for the vacuum and chewed it to bits. It was important because it was the long, skinny aux tube that allowed me to get the sand and gunk out of the clothes dryer where the lint mesh is inserted. (Yes, my kids play in the sandbox and get sand in their socks and shoes, so the drier captures a ton of that sand and I need to vacuum it out once a week or so). Long story short: these attachments fit well into the Dyson and have functioned well. Well worth the cost.

After reading some of the reviews I was a little confused if this would work or not so I purchased thinking maybe have to return. I was looking for attachments that I could use for my cars and was going to buy a small shop vac but then thought about the Dyson V7 I have. After finding this kit with the hose and crevice tool it couldn't work out any better! This eliminates buying another vac and I can use for small touch ups around the house along with my cars.Only negative would be the fact the Dyson will only run 20 min or so but its not a big deal! BTW the little adaptor it comes with works perfectly on my V7 and then you snap on and off the attachments.. the little free brush they include is probably useless but I wasn't buying the kit for that! Works great maybe a little overpriced but I don't need to buy another vac!

Fits my V8 Absolute perfectly, but does not fit the attachments that came with my V8.This is basically a stand-alone kit of separate attachments that fit the V8.I bought it primarily for the hose to make car cleaning easier. I thought I'd be able to use that hose with the attachments that came with my V8. I thought it was a bonus that this order also came with attachments of its own. In reality, it comes with attachments because those are the only attachments that fit with the hose.There is an adapter piece that goes into the V8. You snap the hose, into that adapter, then snap any of the cleaning pieces into the other end of the hose.Works perfectly and makes it much easier to clean the car, dust shelves and reach higher areas with the added length of the hose.The glitch comes if you want to use any of your original attachments with this hose.They will not fit.The hose only fits onto the attachments that come with it.Purchased this specifically for the hose so cleaning the car would be easier. All attachments fit perfectly and the hose allows easier reach in the car and all the nooks and awkward areas that the entire handheld unit does not fit into.In my situation, I keep this hose and attachments in the garage. The V8 itself is in the house, so I just bring it into the garage when it's time to clean the car and use it with this package of attachments. If I'd wanted these attachments and hose to be used in the house interchangeably with the original attachments, I wouldn't be too happy. For my use, it suits just fine.

Wow, I really have needed these for a long time. I'm happy that they arrived on time, are as described, and there is no need to deal with customer service. A couple of the attachments do fit rather tight, but I am hoping that with use they will loosen up over time. If you have a Dyson cordless, these make all of your other car vac.s, etc. obsolete. We gave our other cordless away because, with these accessories, this is the only combination of tools that you should ever need; unless, you run a big shop and need a wet-vac! For frosting on the cake, we have also ordered twin accessory plug-in racks which should hold about 8 items; plugging into the 2 slots flanking the charging vac. unit, which was sufficient until now.

Too bad Dyson doesn’t provide these extensions at the time of purchase; out of the 6 attachments only 50% are effective but in order to attach it to the vacuum the coupling is tight at best and impossible at worse

Makes all my large Dyson vacuum extra parts fit my handheld quick clean-up Dyson. Perfect sealed fit, excellent quality. I actually can't tell my Dyson brand parts from these by use or look.

Works like a charm. Well worth the cost which was excellent. Enough tools to do all the jobs you have.

I would have given these tools a 5 star rating except for one odd thing - when you attach the hand tools to the hose they do not fit in line. Instead the hand tool is at an angle from lining up with the vacuum. This does not affect the operation in any way except you are putting a little extra strain on the hose every time you use it. In time this may be a wear factor or it could just be me (I'm picky about things that are not straight or aligned). The tool material is a less expensive material than the original tools but that is to be expected when you consider the price. All in all - a good buy - especially the upholstery brush for use in your car, it is the perfect size and has a nice angle to get into the edge at the back to seat junction.
