Like nearly all of the others, it is made of plastic, so that if I dropped it, it would put cracks in it. This is quite sturdy. You can feel it, and it looks like it was on sale, so that it only cost several dollars more than a filter would have cost on its own filters, the water quite quickly, so that you have it available to use within minutes. It has a little counter on top that tells you what do you need a filter change.The water taste, much much better, and is also safter.Are use it, not only for myself, for drinking water and for cooking, but also for my Chihuahuas, and even the feral cats that I can feed. I also have a countertop, zero water filter, and a large size, which filters out heavy metals and other undesirable elements quite rapidly. Usually first I run the water through zero filter, and then those alkaline water pitcher from that though sometimes when I'm tired or rushing, I just so the alkaline pitcher directly from the water tap And it still taste good filtering your drinking and cooking water is a very good investment and your health and longevity. A lot of what has been put into our water for six into our water is distinctly bad for the hell over the course of a lifetime. And it tastes, and feels so much better as you swallow it, that it encourages one to drink more water.. this was a good purchase. I even bought a second one. There is no leakage at all. Please check the directions regarding repairing the filter for use. It will make it work better and quicker. There is no long wait to have the water available I like the size and weight because it is not too heavy, it is quite easy to carry. The picture is rather tall so you may have to adjust the racks in your refrigerator if you wish to keep it in the refrigerator. .

My beautiful new pitcher arrived, and when I filled the water reservoir, I noticed that the water wan't coming out from the bottom and/or sides of the filter, it was spraying out where the filter was screwed in.I called the company, and got a wonderful Customer Support representative. He explained what was causing the problem (the filter), gave me a couple of suggestions on how it might be corrected, and sent me two new filters (in case the filter still didn't work right). It doesn't get any better than this!

I had purchased a filter pitcher for alkaline water about 5 years ago. I stashed it in the cabinet. I ran across it again a few weeks sho and figured I wouldn’t find filters. I looked everywhere. I should have started here. These filters are perfect and the ones I bought even matched the color of the original pitcher.

I was skeptical about the claims of this alkaline water pitcher but after reading several reviews I decided to take a chance on purchasing it. The water from my faucet that I filtered tested as alkaline according to the pH Perfect test kit that I also purchased on Amazon. It tested 8 which is alkaline on the pH chart which is good enough for me. I live in Mississippi so the quality and taste of the water here is a concern for me and this pitcher improved the taste of the water. I gave this product four stars because the water drips slowly and stops filling the reservoir once water fills to the level of the filter. Other than that so far so good.

Great tasting water and simple to use! After some use will have to add something. The first filter worked perfectly. The second filter did not. I've had to take the pitcher apart now, constantly, shake the filter, and reassemble. This is time-consuming and irritating. Evidently, the filters might be prone to clogging or not allowing water to flow when the particles inside the filters are wet. However, I want to note that the water in my area is hard water.

The water where I live is really bad so these filters are an absolute must have. I have been using them for close to a year now and have not had any issues with them. Pre-soak the filter in cold water for about a half hour, then run the pitcher twice before setting it to 60 days, this will help them flow faster. Alkaline levels are good right up to the last day.

Drinks are on the money

I have been using these filters for over 8 months now and they work good when they work but the last two orders have been of poor quality. They don't seem to last like they originally did and the last order had to be sent back due to flow problems. They became plugged up and stopped working after a few weeks. Note that I am filtering bottled water to remove the fluoride, so the water is already very clean. Seems like the quality of manufacturing has deteriorated. And now the replacement filters are just dripping very slowly. These are expensive filters not to count the pitcher cost which was also expensive. I am very unhappy with this product and do not recommend it to anyone. There is doubt in the shipping practices also. Could be getting damaged due to no cushion filler in the box. The filters just bounce around in the box. Presently looking for an alternative. Do not buy from Amazon!

The media could not be loaded.  Replacing filter don’t work as the first one did as u can see . The one on the right came inside the water the machine the one on the left was the extra one which as u can see isn’t the same :( the left one is the new one
