Good buy, it doesn't like pre ground coffee much
Good buy, it doesn't like pre ground coffee much, keeps saying no coffee in there a lot of time. Works excellently with beans though. Overall a good buy

Great first coffee machine
Easy to use and clean, great build quality and is a very durable machine, have had for years and still works amazing! Fits in a corner of my kitchen perfectly. Great value for money.

Excellent coffee machine
We have had this coffee machine for several years, and during this period it has seen extensive use without issue. We live in a hard water area, so use filtered water to reduce scaling. That said, we de-scale the machine as required with DeLonghi de-scaler, and thoroughly clean it at the same time. Purely as a precaution, we recently had it serviced by DeLonghi, and were very pleased with their overall provision.

Great Coffee
This has been my first coffee machine, after years of using aeropress and stove pots. It is worth every penny, the ease of use, the quality of the espresso and the options are great. It is now probably one of the best things I've bought. There are two issues that are worth knowing about, though they don't really matter too much in the grand scheme of things:1. The water tank capacity is not very high - just above 1.5L. This sounds enough, but given the rinse cycle at the start and end of the machine, I find myself refilling it more often than I'd have liked to.2. The coffee grind container requires emptying very frequently - it's easy to do so, but sometimes you remove it and realise there's hardly anything in it.Would I prefer a machine that perhaps didn't have these two issues - Yes. Would I pay anything for it - probably not. This is a really good entry into bean to cup coffee machines.

Good but not great coffee.
It's great to have coffee from freshly ground beans pretty much at the touch of a button. But, I have to say coffee doesn't come out as nice as from my old manual Icona coffee machine. Ground is not quite fine enough - I have it by default as fine as it goes, but you can see from the grounds, it could be finer. Also, the pressing force isn't great. As a result, coffee is always lighter in colour and taste than I'd like. Also, as the other reviewer said, using ground coffee (I.e. If you run out of beans) is a faff - actually nigh impossible. Ah, and the coffee length selector is also quite sticky, so often have to turn all the way around to find the desired length.

good machine
replaced this with a 9 year old gaggia bean to cup machine, nice compact machine, great coffee, built in filter but refills expensive about £8 every 2 months overall very pleased as good as the gaggia
