These poems exudes a deep sense of pain and it reflects the poet’s journey from grief, sadness, pain, hopelessness and grief towards a ray of hope and sunshine and positive healing. Once I started reading through these beautiful poems I could not stop, it is so addicting. Simple but carrying a deep meaning. The themes reflected upon are -- Loving, grieving, dying, surviving, and healing.“ if only we couldtreat people as thoughthey were the deadreturning to us…..how different our relationshipswould be ”Fantastic !! I will live to that. A must read for poetry lovers.

I didn't know what to expect from April's bookdespite reading so much of her work on social media. Beautifully presented and with a powerful message of survival and surpassing. Sits by my bed side and I dip in and out of her words which I carry very close to my heart. Thank you for the beauty of this collection.

Earthsong is a beautifully written collection of poems and Haikus. As you progress from one page to the next you find yourself drawn and captivated by the authors words and their messages. This is the second book by April Green that I have read and I certainly enjoyed it as much as the first.I will definitely be keeping this title on my Kindle as it is the type of book that you can gain pleasure from by reading it again and again. I would thoroughly recommend this to those who are new to this genre as it is very accessible and readable. For anyone who is already a fan of poetry or haikus then I'm sure you won't be disappointed by Earthsong.

Self indulgent,naive writing about a relationship break up.The poetry had little depth and were very cliché. Currently being used as a teapot stand....

April Green has written an honest poetry book that I couldn't put down. I loved the feel of her words as I turned each page. She writes in short verse but powerful statements that make you think about love, life, grief. She can conjure up your own memories as she sifts through hers. I felt her passion and her essence while reading this book. Green has such a way with words that it comes natural and this gift she has is a pleasure to read. I follow her on social media as well and look forward to her daily poetry.Earthsong is a poetry book that has one feather floating on the cover, this alone speaks of a world you will enter that is light in darkness. Everyone goes through grief, darkness, fighting demons, but when you read Green's book you cannot help but be surrounded by her light. I am grateful to have purchased this poetry book and will take it down from my poetry collection to read certain passages that grabbed hold of my soul.

April green's poetry never fails to impress. Just like paper wings, earthsong also has heart touching poems. Every word can be felt. Awesome work.

Beautiful. Haunting. Eloquent. Those are the words that came to mind while trying to describe this collection of poetry. There are more, of course- endearing, heartbreaking, thought-provoking. Regardless of how I choose to describe it the subject matter won’t change.We’ve all heard that the pen is mightier than the sword and April Green proves that throughout the collection, regardless of the topic that you find yourself in. Her voice resonates through the words on the page and touches the reader in such a way that only her experiences can. Many people wish to be poets- High schoolers, drunken coworkers, romanticized starving artists- the list goes on, but very few actually know how to stitch words together to touch the human heart. April Green is one of the few.Very rarely do I come upon a collection of the written word that imprints itself upon my heart like this one has. Perhaps it’s due to the person I used to be or the person I want to become but it felt like my feelings had been put into words with far more elegance than I could ever create.

I'm not an expert in poetry. I don't even really understand it. But while reading "Earthsong" the concepts of good or bad were replaced with simple enjoyment, and I think that is why I'm giving this book a five-star rating. When you begin reading April's pieces, it's less about what you know about her chosen art form and medium, and more about the melody of her words. The beauty in her craftsmanship. You can't help but finish the entire book once you pick it up, and after you read that final line on the last page, you find yourself starting over.Thank goodness she's on Instagram!

Randomly found an amazing poem off instagram and I knew I needed to read more of April's amazing words. These poems truly move me and triggers emotions from every aspect of life.

This book will capture your heart & soul. Completely mesmerizing. Simple in many ways, yet so complex. Romantic & heartwarming. Such depth and emotion in so few words. This is poetry that we can all understand and appreciate. I adore every line

Good book overall: taking one star off because the cover just as for her other book I ordered, came damaged and then taking another star off because of a recent interaction I had with the author on Instagram where she seemed quite conceited and dare I say...passive-aggressive?! I have gotten all three or her books and was interested in an open and honest discussion on the creative process involved in writing them.
