Paper Wings: illustrated poems and haikus

'Paper Wings' was one of the first poetry books i've read and honestly it has touched my soul! This book allows you to feel certain emotions that were hidden somewhere inside you. It takes you to a different world! If not all, you will definitely find one poem which you can relate to. This book teaches you to love yourself, it doesn't just tell you to love yourself but it actively takes you on a journey of WHY you should love yourself. April Green pours her heart out in this book in a serious way where the reader can appreciate and understand their own predicaments in a better manner.You cannot go wrong!I highly recommend it!Keep shining! x x

Was super excited to read this and loved it from start to finish! The illustrations throughout were as beautiful as the poetry. Definitely buy it, you will most certainly not regret it.

I adore this book. Her work reads effortlessly and so beautifully. It's raw and yet tender. Some pieces bring out emotions that are just simmering... waiting/needing to come out. Couldn't recommend it enough. I have just ordered 'Earthsong' by the same author.
