Cute woodburner
Cute little woodburner which fits into the tightest of spaces yet throws out a really good amount of heat, and a very smart design

i am very pleased as it is more economical
Having done away with my open fire, i decided to buy my 1st multi fuel stove, i am very pleased as it is more economical, produces a moderate heat to both my lounge which is 14FT square & dining room, the stove is a well made construction, just need to be careful not to overload with fuel as there is only a small lip on the fire grate! otherwise a nice looking stove & value for money.

It looks nice ; however i dont think the draught "in" is big enough so it doesn't draw as well as I'd hoped; plus the swivel plate is easily dislodged

Nice looking and average for the money but it has many design faults
The fire gets very hot (had it up to 500deg F ) using wood which is fine except it leaves a lot of soot behind even after one evening use, this is using the secondary air vents as you should with wood. This indicates an incomplete burn even though the wood (kiln dried) burns down to nothing and the door remains clean. so don't know why. Burning smokeless fuel (Homefire) is a different matter, fire just doesn't get as hot and takes an age to get there. 350deg F Maximum and that's a struggle. This is with the primary vent fully open all the time. I think there is a design fault with this. The primary (bottom) air vent slider thing with the holes in is attached to the inside of the door which has no matching holes and therefore the holes in the slider plate are too close to the outer door shell (about an 1/8" gap) so even when fully open it is difficult for the air to squeeze between the slider holes and the door casing. I have looked at mine and I am going to remove the whole assembly, fit some fire rope around the circumference of the slider assembly and put it back. This will space the slider unit away from the door front and at the same time give a good seal. It would have been better if the just drilled the outer door to line up with the slider holes, at least there would then be some direct air flow into the bottom of the fire. I think they were trying to copy the visual appearance of some of the more expensive stoves. The flue is new and installed by a HETAS fitter. I am not new to stoves having an inset stove as well in another room which burns hot with wood or smokeless fuel and which is clean as a whistle after a number of burns. Maybe you just get what you pay for. I recently started to burn anthracite which burns to nothing in my other inset stove but with this one it goes out after an hour or so. The reason is that unlike my inset stove which has no way of any air getting through the bottom of the stove except by it coming through the grate, even if it is partly blocked by clinker and ash, this stove has big gaps everywhere which allows most of the air to navigate around the fuel and even more so when the grate even gets slightly blocked. For example : There is no fixed bar separating the top half of the firebox from the bottom so no centre rope seal ether just the front of the grate. When you close the door there is a half inch at least air gap between the grate and the door so air can just up between the grate and the door and not even go through the bottom of the grate at all!. I have fixed thick rope seal to the front of the grate to try to seal this. Even if all of the air was forced to enter under the grate then there is such a large gap either side of the LH and RH cast iron fire bricks that much of the air can get behind those cast plates (ie between the plates and the outer shell) and again reduce any air going up through the grate. This is the reason for all of the soot as that air is cooling down the combustion gasses and the reason why the fire goes out after a short time. I am going to make my own fire bricks from vermiculite to try to cure this. I have since drilled the door to increase air flow and removed the top "air-wash" plate inside the fire and spaced that out with fire rope too as it was too close to the fire body to allow much air to come down in front of the glass, hopefully once I have new home made fire bricks the fire will operate as it should. The baffle plates are an absolute pain in the backside in these stoves.Only need to touch them when refuelling and they fall down. Your'e then stuffed until the fire's gone out because it;s impossible to reposition the plate while the fire is going.

JAO14 Wood Burner
Bought this because of price and the style of this stove.Delivery and packaging were good, it comes in a useful wooden box.I am 65yrs and fitted this stove on my own but had to remove the Grate,Inner linings and Door so that i could lift it into position. This stove may seem small but it generates plenty of heat.It heats a 12'x11'dining room with adjoining 11'x6' kitchen with open doorway and open hatchway very effectively and with the room door open will circulate warm air into the hall, stairs and landings.Heat also transfers through the wall to the adjoining washroom and via the chimney to the airing room and WC room upstairs.( I live in a Victorian semi detached house). This stove is well worth the money WoodBurner NEW Cast Iron Log Burner MultiFuel Wood Burning 6 kw Stove JA014 .and is constructed well, i am considering buying another one for my front room.

Woodburner stove
The woodburner arrived very quickly and was packed well, i found it easy to assemble and fit, it looks good and lights easily, i run mine on wood only and the only problem i find is that it has a small combustion chamber and burns the wood out quickly so it keeps going out before i can top it up, otherwise i am very pleased with this product.

Good product but check instructions
Nice neat size but instructions for inside plate are wrong. They are quoted upside down. We had a lot of trouble to remedy this but it is now working fine.
