I'll update this if battery begins to fail quickly or something, but my devices are usually powered so I may not be able to test this easily.I replaced batteries in two Garmin's where the batteries have been useless for some try time. Check YouTube for videos. You'll need suitable tools of course, but I found it pretty simple (compared to say trying to open up an old iPod).These batteries do not come with any double sided tape. I don't know how essential that is, but I managed to very carefully peel the tape from the old battery and reuse.The wire position (where it exits) the battery is slightly different but this doesn't present a problem in practice.After installation, I charged once fully and the devices gave about 2 hours life (up from about 5 mins before). Good enough for me as I just want to be able to plan a route while say sat in a cafe rather than sat in my bike with ignition on.

Bought as a replacement battery for a long dead back-up to satnav on phone and seems to work fine up to now

Battery arrived promptly and was a direct replacement in my Garmin nuvi 250.As I have only just replaced it I can't give feedback on battery life, hence the 3 stars.Based on my experience so far I would recommend buying this product, but will have to reserve judgement on battery life until I have used it a few times.

It was slightly difficult to get into the Garmin to change the battery but when you use the torx screwdrivers it went fine. The battery then charged up well and I am back with my old satnav up and running again for a fraction of the price of a new one.

I liked the rapid service and the well packaged goods. Fitted into my Garmin Nuvi 255W perfectly. A bit early to review battery life as it was only fitted this week. The original battery lasted about 10 years. Very happy so far.

Used for a Garmin Nuvi car Sat Nav 205 - replaced old battery - new one seems to last longer but only 2 hours which I guess is all you get for this size battery.
