I had the chance to test out the Face Republic Purity Sun Essence yesterday at the beach, and I must say I'm thrilled with the results. The sunscreen is incredibly light and not oily and easy absorbing which made it a joy to wear. As someone who's passionate about Indigenous knowledge and environmental care, I appreciate that the sunscreen is reef-safe, cruelty-free, and vegan. Respecting Kanaloa, the Hawaiian god of the sea, and I'm glad this product aligns with my values.I try to be mindful of the ingredients that go into the ocean, and it's reassuring to know that this sunscreen is eco-friendly while also providing excellent sun protection. The balance between being environment-friendly and non-sticky with no white cast is impressive, and I'm sure I'll be using this sunscreen for a long time.I highly recommend the Face Republic Purity Sun Essence to anyone who's looking for a high-quality, environmentally friendly sunscreen that's also vegan and cruelty-free. Not only is it a great product, but it's also aligned with my values, which makes it even better.

I love this sunscreen. It’s not at all greasy / pleasant to apply and wear throughout the day. Feels like a super lightweight moisturizer. Makeup goes on top of it very nicely. Smells amazing. No white cast. Very gentle on the skin (I have super sensitive skin / gets irritated easily). It may be a little on the pricey side but for me it’s worth it for the perfect sunscreen. And it’s 50 SPF so you’re not going to need to use it as often throughout the day which makes up for the price a bit.

It's a moisturizing light weight gentle sunscreen great for dry sensitive acne prone skin and all skin types. It leaves no white cast feels very refreshing and cooling and has a light scent from the extracts in the ingredients list it's fragrance free and it leaves a satin finish It be perfect if it was a tad more moisturizing and gave a more dewy or glowy or radiant finish imo but overall I absolutely love this sunscreen and I highly recommend it. It didn't bother or irritate .y skin or eyes ahd didn't cause any breakouts even on my currently overly sensitive flaired up acne prone skin my skin type is normal to dry in the warmer months and dry to extra dry and I'm 31 so my skin is becoming more mature I alo have eczema psoriasis and acne prone sensitive skin plus tons of allergies and my skin I'd no longer agreeing with a ton of my once holy grail sunscreens and skin care products . So I bought this sunscreen to try and I'm happy to say it's definitely going to be one of my go to water resistant reef safe facial sunscreenscand I'd definitely recommend to anyone who has similar skin conditions and concerns .

I used to use The BOJ Rice Sunscreen, then I couldn't find it on Amazon anymore, just a lot of FAKE Knockoffs! Then I used the SCINC ENJOY SUPER MILD SUN ESSENCE, and THAT one was AMAZING I LOVED IT! BUT, it went WAYYY up in Price, and I also can't find it on Amazon, You have to Buy 2# at a time now on Amazon, at a MUCH HIGHER Price! Then, I seen this one...I didn't think it was going to be anything Special! BUT, when I got it Yesterday....OMG it IS EXACTLY THE SAME TEXTURE AND FORMULA AS THE OTHER TWO THAT I LOVE SO MUCH!!! I LOVED IT SO MUCH I AM NOW ON THE SUBSCRIBE AND SAVE SHIPMENT!!! I HAVE FINALLY FOUND MY NEW HOLY GRAIL SUNSCREEN! I REALLY HOPE THIS COMPANY DOESN'T DO THEIR CUSTOMERS DIRTY, THE WAY THE OTHER TWO DID AND JACK THE PRICE UP, BECAUSE IF THEY DO I WILL NOT BUY IT ANYMORE! SUN PROTECTION SHOULD NOT COST YOU A ARM AND A LEG, YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET GREAT FORMULAS THAT ARE ELEGANT FOR A FAIR PRICE! AND THIS ONE IS EXACTLY ALL OF THOSE AND MORE! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS! AND FOR THOSE WITH DARK SKIN TONES, MY NEIGHBOR WHEN I SHOWED IT TO THEM PUT SOME ON JUST TO SEE, AND ABSOLUTELY NO WHITE CAST SHE'S THEN WENT AND ORDERED HER OWN! SHE IS FROM NIGERIA BY THE WAY! I am super Fair like Casper the ghost, so for me it wouldn't matter anyway, but for her it was no problem at all she fell in love also! I highly recommend this one! I hope the company sees my review, and just know that as long as you don't try to stick us and Jack the price up, you will have a loyal fan base! Because what these other companies don't understand, is when you had loyal followers and you Jack the price up, you lost a ton of customers! When you keep a great product at a fair price, you will have a ton more customers! So even if you're not making a huge profit like some of the other companies, you are still making more money in the end because you have people buying your product and running away from the overpriced company!!! Great job people you did a great job on this formulation I love it I am literally in love! It also wears beautifully by itself, it makes your face look dewy and healthy without looking greasy, and I wore it this morning under my makeup and it's beautiful no problems whatsoever, and I use many different types of makeup at one time oil based water-based you name it absolutely no problems wearing makeup of any kind over this sunscreen! You have a very happy and now loyal customer thank you so much!

I have very, very sensitive eyes to anything (to what i swear feels like it) that basically gets in it. So, when rubbing my eyes I would 100000% feel stinging and my eyes would immediately water. The finish is nice! It absorbs quickly and leaves a nice glowing finish. Does not pill or feel sticky at all. Best of all, no white cast. Another major con is for the price, it is not enough product. I was shocked at how small the tube is. At the rate and the amount you are suggested to use it. I will definitely finish this probably within 2 weeks? Especially if you are reapplying every 2 hours.

This product has a lightweight (medium to thick) liquid consistency. I love that doesn't have that regular sunscreen smell but rather has a subtle lemongrass and essential oil scent. When I was applying it to my face at first it had a cool toned cast but as I continued to rub it in it seeped into the skin quite nicely and left a soft glow. Surprisingly, it's not sticky nor uncomfortable on the skin, I expected the post-application to feel watery or extremely moisturized but it left my face feeling soft after application. Really liked it and recommend it!
