WeeRide Safe Front Deluxe Child Baby Bike Cycle Seat Carrier Brown

I bought this seat a couple of months ago and have used it a handful of times so far. I am and my 10 month old son absolutely LOVE it! It's so great having him in front of me so he can look out it feels sturdy and looks comfortable. Much better I think then a rear seat where your child wobbles about not being able to see! You do have to move your knees out slightly when peddling, but not so much it really matters. Customer service was great too, I had a question regarding the bolts that cam with it, and they replied back same day (and on a Sunday), so top marks for that too. The only slight design adjustment I would make would be to redesign the screw that bolts the seat to the bracket I found that a little bit fiddly, although it is designed to be safe to stop the baby unwinding it (push and turn)... Hardly an issue. My son fell asleep on the journey home from the park the other day...seemed happy enough sleeping On the front rest, prob be even more comfy as he gets slightly bigger, as his head just rests on the edge at the moment. Glad I bought it. Good product

Bought this bike seat for my 1 year old daughter and she loves it. Fairly simple to assemble and fitted very neatly on my mountain bike. Lots of information and advice on the WeeRide website to help make sure it will fit your bike (by the sounds of it, it should fit most bikes!). There is a strange review criticising the product and it is worth reading the response from the company that imports these seats. I soon realised that it was just a customer not understanding rather than a fault with the product. The quality of the seat and parts is very high and its very stable to ride with your child in front of you rather than behind. Little bit awkward riding with your legs apart but think I will soon get used to it and the other advantages of having the child in front and able to see outweigh this in my opinion. She loves being able to look around and see whats going on and I love being able to see her enjoy the bike ride. Really pleased that I eventually chose this product (after spending a little too long researching!)

Bought this ages ago. Great product and so much fun- both for the child and the adult. Every time my first two kids went out in it, they had a huge grin from ear to ear. Feels so much safer than a rear mounted seat. It got a lot of attention too, my guess was due to being front mounted where passers-by could see the child's reaction on the bike. Only complaint is both my kids were too big for this by the time they reached four years old- it's supposed to be guaranteed suitable for a four year old. I (and especially the kids) miss the days when we could go out on this. Now I have a third child, I'm looking forward to them being old enough to go out on this too, in the future.

This truly is an amazing child seat. Put it together in 20 mins, very easy to do, even with a 2 year old trying to help. The moment my daughter sat on this she loved it. We have had many rides together on this and it is great to be able to talk to her, describe things to her, she even points to things now and has learnt to put her hand out when we go right/left. I'm so glad i got this as i wouldn't have wanted her to be sat behind me with no communication. One thing she does do though is rub her hands up and down my legs whilst we are riding which puts a smile on my face :-) Well worth the investment.

We were very pleased with this product, seemed reasonable quality and our 2 year old daughter loves it. My husband is 5'11" and has no problem riding his bike with the weeride in front. He does have to ride with legs slightly further apart than normal and therefore has said he would not want to ride for miles with this in place but for short rides, which is all a toddler is likely to tolerate anyway, it is great. It is nice as he is able to talk her through things that they see and she has a great vantage point to see where she is going. The only issue I would have is that our daughter is a small 2 year old and already the straps are on nearly their longest setting. It certainly will not fit her once she is 3 or above.

I bought it for my son who is 20 months. Close fit. Don't think it will fit him next summer. Had a little trouble getting him to sit for the first time. He canned down after starting the ride. Now he can't get enough of it!!. He absolutely loves it. He wants to go fit a ride every day. Glad I bought it even if it lasts the summer. 15 kg limit is a bit shocking as he is already 14. With his jacket helmet and does he is already at the limit. Gud product and well made but definitely devious marketing. A shame really. No way even a 3 year old even if skinny won't cross the weight limit with the protective gear. That's why only 4 stars.

Poor seat seems to flex alot 1 pin to hold the child to the bike is not enough.

It's good enough, expensive for what it is, already nearly too small at ~2 1/2 years. Deluxe is relatively too expensive compared to the standard model (although Amazon's inconsistent discounting amplifies this), the deluxe model isn't exactly plush, it should just be the single standard and leave it at that. Annoying screw to attach seat to frame that gets in the way as your child grows. BUT having said that it does what it's meant to and I'm not aware of others that do the same. If you have a child < 2 and you can get it for sub 100 quid it's a no brainer.

Installation simple, produit de bonne qualité, les balades sont plus intéressantes avec son enfant, il voit les même chose de vous et vous l'avezEntre vous bras et directement lui parlé , il est conseillé de mettre une béquille sur le vélo pour l'installation sur simple de l'enfant (comme pour les sièges enfant arrière) .

Teníamos dos sillas traseras para nuestras hijas de 3,5años y 10 meses, pero en excursiones largas la pequeña se queda dormida y con la cabeza colgando o mal apoyada contra la espalda del conductor. Con esta silla delantera, la peque va encantada disfrutando de la visión y puede descansar en el reposacabezas cuando está cansada. En las fotos lo veréis perfectamente.Aunque indica que su uso es hasta los 4 años, si el ñiño es alto, el espacio para las piernas será un poco pequeño, por lo que lo recomendaría para cuando son pequeños, y luego usar una silla trasera. Para pedalear no molesta casi nada, es más estrecha que las sillas traseras.El contenido del producto es bueno: viene con todos lo necesario para la instalación (barra central incluida), y con instrucciones detalladas en varios idiomas. Escogimos el modelo deluxe porque en las fotos parecían más mullidos los cojines, y la verdad es que estamos muy contentos.

Das wichtigste: wie gefällt es dem Kind?Als ich den Junior, ein propperes Kerlchen von 8 Monaten, das trotz des zarten Alters schon perfekt frei sitzen kann (wir haben uns das ok von der Kinderärztin eingeholt, dass Kind schon aufs Fahrrad darf), das erste mal reingesetzt und angeschnallt habe, fing der erste typische Anschnall-Protest an. Nach den ersten Metern wich der Protest großer Begeisterung. Das Kind genießt freie Sicht und es gibt viel zu sehen. Kurzum, der Jung liebt unsere Ausfahrten und guckt sich alles an. Er scheint es ganz bequem zu finden, kann auch mal den Lenker mit anfassen und die Klingel bedienen. Zwischen meinen Armen fühlt er sich offensichtlich gut aufgehoben. Es sieht zwar etwas merkwürdig aus, wenn er auch mal nach unten guckt, um zu sehen, wie schnell der Boden vorbeifliegt, dann sitzt er etwas krumm, die meiste Zeit sitzt er aber gerade und macht einen sehr relaxten Eindruck. Schon bei der zweiten Fahrt ließ er sich ganz artig anschnallen und freute sich als es losging. Ich mache vorerst nur kurze Touren 15-30 Minuten, um das Kind nicht zu überlasten/überfordern. Ob er da später wirklich drauf einschläft, bleibt abzuwarten.Einmal haben ihm vom Fahrtwind etwas die Augen getränt, ich überlege noch, mir eine Windschutzscheibe anzuschaffen.Die Sache mit dem Wind könnte der einzige Vorteil eines Hecksitzes für das Kind sein, aber die freie Sicht und die Nähe zum Elternteil ist für das Kind sicherlich wichtiger. Vielleicht fahre ich auch einfach mal etwas langsamer (12 km/h statt 17).2. Wie gefällt es dem Vater?Wer einmal in seiner Jugend illegaler Weise Personen auf dem Gepäckträger mitgenommen hat, weiß, wie wackelig die Fahrt wird. Dadurch, dass beim Wee-ride sich das Gewicht auf beide Räder verteilt und sich aus Gründen, für die ich im Moment zu denkfaul bin, sich der Schwerpunkt anscheinend nicht nach oben verlagert, bleibt die Fahrt ruhig und sicher. Ich habe das Kind immer im Blick und es ist schön, den Kleinen so vor sich zu haben. Ich sehe, ob er einschläft und was er gerade so spannend findet. Ich habe subjektiv den Eindruck, dass er zwischen meinen Armen sicher aufgehoben ist. Alleine, dass man sich nicht umdrehen muss, um zu gucken, was das Kind so treibt, ist super. Ich habe lange überlegt, ob ich einen Hecksitz oder einen Anhänger nehmen soll. Jetzt bin ich froh, dass der Kleine so nah bei mir ist.Das Aufsteigen und losfahren klappt super. Mit einem Hecksitz wüsste ich gar nicht, wie ich auf mein Herrenrad aufsteigen sollte, so gelenkig bin ich nicht. Mit einem Anhänger hat man ein Riesengefährt und das Kind ist so weit weg.Ich muss nur minimal breitbeinig fahren. Da ich mit dem Kind keine Temporekorde aufstellen möchte, stört das nicht. Ob man mit dem Kind da vorne starke Steigungen schafft, habe ich allerdings noch nicht getestet.Ich hatte erst bedenken, ob es nicht zu eng auf dem Rad wird. Ich habe ein Rad, auf dem man relativ aufrecht sitzt, so stößt der Kinderkopf nicht an meinen Oberkörper, also alles kein Problem.3. SicherheitEin Zweibeinständer ist ein absolutes Muss um das Kind sicher und in Ruhe in dem Sitz platzieren zu können.Das bessere Fahrverhalten habe ich schon erwähnt. Das Kind jederzeit im Blick zu haben, ist auch wichtig, so entfällt gefährliches Umgucken. Ich habe am Wochenende einen Vater mit Hecksitz beobachtet, der sein Rad rumgeschoben hat und wohl über eine Bordsteinkannte heben wollte. Dabei hat sich dann durch den hohen Schwerpunkt über dem Hinterrad das ganze Fahrrad über das Hinterrad nach hinten überschlagen. Zum Glück nur ganz langsam, so dass keinem was passiert ist, aber Rad und Kind lagen am Boden. So etwas kann einem mit dem Sitz vorne nicht passieren.Die Konstruktion ist so, dass der Sitz recht fest am Rad ist. Das einzige, womit ich noch nicht so recht glücklich bin, sind die Schultergurte, die rutschen bei meinem Jung oft von den Schultern. Vielleicht muss ich das noch besser einstellen. Die Schultergurte sind aber eh nicht so wichtig, sie können vielleicht seitliches rauskippen verhindern, aber ich habe das Kind ja immer im Blick. Vorerst will ich keinen Stern abziehen, bevor ich nicht getestet habe, ob man das besser einstellen kann.4. MontageHier hat jemand geschrieben, dass zwei Schrauben übrig bleib, was zu etwas Verunsicherung geführt hat. Ich habe am Schluss festgestellt, dass dies alternative längere Schrauben für dicke Rahmen sind. Hätte ich das vorher gewusst, wäre die Montage bei mir etwas schneller und mit weniger Fummelei gelaufen. Den Tipp hätte man in der Anleitung vielleicht auch ausdrücklich reinschreiben können. Die Stellschraube zur Befestigung des Sitzes an der Haltestange muss man gleichzeitig drücken und drehen, dann zieht sie sich auch richtig fest. Dafür habe ich auch etwas gebraucht, das war aber meine Lesefaulheit. Insgesamt ist die Montage problemlos.5. Fazit/Vergleich mit AnhängerIch hatte erst Zweifel, ob das ein Gimmick ist, den man nachher nicht soviel benutzt. Jetzt nutze ich aber jede Gelegenheit für eine kleine Ausfahrt. Das ist ein schönes gemeinsames Erlebnis und für mich erheblich interessanter und schöner als im Schneckentempo mit dem Kinderwagen durch die Gegend zu trotteln. Die Nähe zum Kind finde ich sehr angenehm.Ob wir mit einem Ungetüm von Fahrradanhänger mehr Spaß haben würden, bezweifele ich stark. Der würde sehr viel Platz in der Garage wegnehmen, hätte ein Vermögen gekostet und ich hätte keine Ahnung, ob das Kind da hinten glücklich ist. Mit dem Kindersitz kann ich auf Feld-/und Waldwegen gut Schlaglöchern und Steinen ausweichen. Bei einem nachlaufenden Anhänger dürfte dies unmöglich sein. Den Anhänger kann man zwar länger nutzen, aber mit vier Jahren kann das Kind bestimmt schon selber radeln, dann muss er sich nicht mehr faul chauffieren lassen.Die Erwägungen ändern sich sicherlich, wenn man das Fahrrad als Hauptverkehrsmittel/Autoersatz nutzt oder zwei Kinder hat, aber für den Freizeitgebrauch ist so ein Wee-Ride im Vergleich zu Hecksitz und Anhänger für mich erste Wahl.

Esta sillita es una pasada. Busqué información porque no me convencían las traseras y todo eran buenos comentarios y efectivamente es así. Es ideal para la distracción y el control del niñ@, el peso está centrado así que la estabilidad es aún mayor. Mi única duda era si podría acoplarla a la bici mtb y efectivamente, sin problema! Se duerme en ella la mar de bien, en fin, una maravilla. Si lo se la compro antes. Mi BB tiene casi dos años y pesa casi 13kg ( es gigante) y aún así va estupenda. Un acierto!!

L'idée esy fabuleuse ! C'est beaucoup plus agréable pour bebe de voir le paysage et non le dos des parents. Ce qui nous avait charmé sur le descriptif, c'est de voir les enfants se reposer sur la petite planche juste devant. Seulement ceci n'est possible qu'à condition de détacher l'enfant ce qui est bien trop de dangereux lorsque nous faisons du vélo ! L'installation s'est très bien passée il n'y a eu aucune difficulté, nous l'avons installé sur nos deux vélos sans souci
