The TR3B lens for the Q series is different than many other optic solutions we offer in that it is a round, uniform projection lens. Essentially what the TR3B does is condense the photons into a tight beam of light. This should be considered an advanced user lens. Improper placement too close to the plant for too long will significantly burn the plants leaves. It's like firing three lasers at your plants below. There is significant penetrating power of the thickest of leaf canopies with the TR3B lens. This provides a unique solution for some situations and fitting one or two of these on a Q Sapphire or Q Onyx can make all the difference at different life stages of a plant. The other provision of the TR3B is when You Q is installed in a fixed position such as to the roof rafter of a greenhouse or other structure 10 to 15 feet off the ground, the TR3B provides the focus need for seedlings on the floor or bench below. The diameter of the lens is 78mm and it is 33mm tall
