I've bought Maximuscle products before but they've tasted too artificially sweet....as if it was loaded with sweeteners. This product, however, does not taste sweet at all - it has a taste that is just right. It can be easily consumed without any negative tastes or after tastes. The thing I particularly like about this product is the fact that it has b vitamins which help your body produce more red blood cells and as a result, will help more oxygen get to your muscles and as a result, you will be able to exercise for longer without getting tired compared to if you didn't take any b vitamin supplements (i.e. if you have a low RBC level). It also helps in the process of converting stored fats into energy which will reduce body fat levels. It has a high level of protein which will help repair your muscles whilst losing fat and improving stamina. Great product overall - definitely recommend.

Decided to get my fitness back on track and this item is a must for my dietary needs. As it uses water with the mixture rather than milk it cuts down on the fat content and still tastes pretty good. Can be used as a meal replacement or as a post exercise drink. Rammed full of protein and the tub gives you 27 (rough) drinks. Many other varieties costing the same amount will not give you that many and nowhere near the same nutritional value or taste. The scoop isn't awkward to use and with the large sized lid you can pick up the scoop, level it off without loosing a load on either side of the bottle. Also with it being a hard plastic tub rather than a bag its more robust and easier to serve and store without spillage.This product is not a fad or some ill advised required product which you dont actually need. If used as part of a proper diet and used at the right time, it does make a difference and well worth the money

From past experience I know this product works and tastes good, however when my delivery arrived much to my surprise and eventual disappointment the tub was only 3/4 full, I didn't expect the contents to be full from bottom to lid however I did expect it to last me at least 20 days but do not think it will, maybe they should make the tub smaller value for money it definatley ain't

Amazing product! I have been using this for about a week now and love it so much! I havent tried this with water, but instead take it with skimmed milk and i genuinely cannot tell it apart from an actual full fat chocolate milkshake because its so delicious. I'm sure after more use ill start to see some visible differences, but it really tastes like an ordinary chocolate milkshakeand feels like a treat everyday despite the fact its very low in sugar and fat.. The scooper is also a nice shape that means it's easier to scoop as it is thinner at the bottom which I find easier. I also particlularly like thsi shake as it is meant to add muscle mass without bulking you up or puttign on considerbale weight which I was not looking for (you would use the progain size for this) so met my goals very clearly. An excellent and delicious product and highly recommended. When i run out I will definitely be re-buying.

I use this twice a day on training days and once on rest days. I like the taste. It advises to mix with water, which I do at times, however, on days with heavy cardio I usually mix with milk to add a few more calories (and extra protein), tastes great with milk. I have seen great results and it's definitely become my go to protein supplement. Not sure if I'd have had the same results with another brand/type, or with none at all, but I'm pretty sure it's given me an extra edge.One word of advice is to watch the price. Amazon seems to be the cheapest place to get it (by far in some cases), but the price fluctuates wildly.

The taste really is good! Other protein shakes I have had were "ok", but this is really tasty! Almost too good!As for effectiveness, I'm unsure how to measure that. It's protein and has so far gone a long way to repair damaged muscle tissue very rapidly.I haven't had random muscle cramps from this yet. Other brands seem to make me have cramping, in my feet especially, after a few days/week of use that aren't exercise related (I've experimented). It's an odd experience, but when I stop taking the other brand shakes, it stops within a day. This stuff has had no such effect which is excellent!Good stuff so far!Edit:After a good amount of use, it helps like protein should. It helps to repair muscle much quicker than with a standard "normal" diet (i.e. not a high protein diet) and makes it easier to get that protein into your body; unlike forcing eggs, chicken/turkey, and nuts down your neck...I still appreciate the lack of muscle cramping! That was horrible with the last protein shakes I have had.

Having been quite ill lately I was unable to face food and was getting worried about my nutrition so decided a protein shake might help. I looked at several different types of which this was one of the more expensive but seemed to get the best reviews so I tried it. I am delighted with it as it tastes really good and in the shaker bottle it mixes well with no residue. I chill the water in the fridge. I look forward to it as I can actually taste it unlike most things at the moment. I recommend if you have same problems as me with food although may be best to check with your doctor, mine said it was a good idea.
