Bomber! I've used it now on two rafting trips--the Green River through Desolation and Gray Canyons in late June (six days, five nights), and the San Juan River in Glen Canyon National Recreation (four days, five nights) in early July. Hot as Hades on both trips. Kept my frozen stuff frozen for the full duration on the Green. For the San Juan, I lined the inside with Reflectix and covered it every day with a wet, white towel (ideas I picked up from people smarter than me on the Green). Had enough ice left at the pullout to cool a keg. Just didn't have the keg. I bought it instead of the Yeti simply because, while I wanted a high-end, high-quality cooler, I didn't want to have to yank it out of my drop bag just to gain access to the inside. The Yetis have those long rubber straps, and while I'm sure they're good at keeping the lid snug, they go well below the frame rails on my raft and would make opening them a PITA. The Engel's snaps sit right above my frame and I don't have to lift it to get into it. Plus it fits perfectly into the 42" interior of my raft. You should have seen the faces of my friends when opened it up at the end and invited them to see how much ice I had in it! Couldn't be happier with my Engel 123 quart cooler!

Holds ice. Doesn't move around in the back of my truck. Great product

Seems well built. Kept ice for 8 days sitting on concrete in the sun. Temps averaged in the low 90s.

using as a boat cooler and seating for a offshore center console boat. Held ice for about 5-6 days and kept water cold for 7 days.

This thing looks very cool with a decent package but a slight damage during transportation, hope this will not have a very bad effect on the leak tightness of the cooler. Consider this is a very heavy item shipping back and forth and I had a 10% discount on this thing due to my long term loyalty on Amazon, I will just keep it and see if it works like a charm as described: Built to hold the cold up to 10 days!Plus this thing fits so perfectly into my bike trailer as I expected, so I think there will be a good time this summer for an outdoor family picnic!

Just received our cooler. Very high quality in general but especially the seal. We love that it’s certified bear resistant (when used with bolts/padlocks at the corners) because we’re doing some camping in Canada. Supposed to keep ice for 10 days- hoping it does! Will try and update after our trip this fall.

I love this cooler, but the actual capacity is 108 quarts not 123 as you are led to believe. It had some slight damage during shipping, but Amazon took care of that.
