Keetan Vacuum Insulated Food Jar 18/8 Stainless Steel Lunch Box with Folding Spoon Double Walled Food Container BPA Free(Blue,17OZ)

On a quest to provide different lunches for my kids, I decided to purchase this thermal foodjar. I was keeping my fingers crossed that it fit in their lunchboxes and it did! It fit in both the hard and soft lunch boxes with no problem. I tested it out before I sent it to school and found that the nuggets I heated we're luke warm after 3 hours (this is important because school starts at 7:45 and their lunches are at 11:30 and 12:30). The box states hot food stays hot for 12 hours. I will dispute that unless they mean piping hot soup. But all in all, the boys came home after their first use and said their food was warm. That's good enough for me. I'll keep testing food out in it to see if the 12 hours really stands.

I am self-employed and I work out of a van doing service work, so to have a nice hot meal ready sometime in the afternoon is really nice . I put hot soup into this thermos at 8:45 AM today, and I ate it at 4:50 PM and it was still so hot I had to blow on it to eat it. Not only does it work extremely well it is beautifully designed the height and width proportions are perfect and it has a brushed stainless steel exterior , it is perfectly balanced it just looks nice and feels nice ,absolutely a perfect product . There is just enough room to fold a small paper towel inside the cup between the thermos and the stopper so you can clean up after your meal. This is one of the most efficient , beautiful products I have ever reviewed .

Love this food jar. I don't like to eat first thing in the morning, so I use it for a mid morning breakfast on works days or to dig into at the trail head just before a long hike. I do pre-heat it with boiling water while I get my oats boiled, then transfer to the thermos and top off with my toppings (nuts, raisins or whatever I'm in the mood for). By mid-morning I have a perfectly cooked, hearty bowl of oats and a convenient spoon to go with. I have on a few occasions made a chia pudding breakfast. Just add milk, chia seeds, berries, nuts and whatever else. I toss in an ice cube or two to make sure it stays very cold. A few hours later when I want a hearty chia pudding, it's done and very chilled (the ice cubes don't melt much). I always hand wash, and have never had a problem with gaskets or anything. The size is perfect for me.

I got this for taking hot foods to work... I get up at 4 o'clock in the morning to prepare my hot foods I'm taking to work in this food jar and by the time I'm ready to eat my food at noon. It's hot and I'm very happy that I purchase this item. What's more to say... it does as advertised and the folding utensils that comes with this thermos are a plus. Five Stars. All the way and a strong recommendation to buy this item.

This is a great thermos! I use it daily for my husband and he loves it. I usually heat up soup around 7:30am and it is still hot by lunch (12pm). He even didn't eat it one day and by 8pm that night it was still warm enough to eat out of the container! The folding spoon is also really neat and very well made so I think it should last a while.

Thermos was amazin. Love the box it came in very colorful.

This thing works great for soups. My soup is still hot enough to burn my tongue 5 hours later at lunch time!
