KALMwith Kava Borongoru Traditional Grind (16 oz.)

I use the kava strainer balls for a shaker bottle along with some unrefined virgin coconut oil as kavalactones are fat soluble. I use 2 of the strainer balls at once and put 2 tablespoons of kava into each. Then I fill it 1/2 full with hot water (not boiling, if the water is too hot for you to touch, don’t put it in your kava and turn the temperature down to where it’s hot but not burning. Shake pretty vigorously for 60 seconds and then let it steep like tea. Keep the lid on to keep it warm. After 5-10 minutes I put a bit of milk in there because it’s great at covering up the taste and is another fat source. Shake again for a minute, and you’re done. Sip it frequently and you might want to shake it a little before a drink as kava does settle down a bit.High quality brand. High quality product. Great for relaxation and sleep, or just daily stress. Combining this with lemon balm and Picamilon helps give it a little more of a kick in my experience. Picamilon introduces gaba bound to niacin to cross the blood brain barrier, and the lemon balm inhibits breakdown of gaba so you should experience the benefits a little better and longer.

Didn’t work at all for me. I prepared it exactly the way they recommended several times and never felt a thing. The taste was disgusting. It was very difficult to muscle through drinking it. I have never tasted anything as bad as this. The only way I can think to describe the taste would be if you drank dry wall and concrete tea. I tried to get my money back but they said only if I had not open it and to keep trying because it takes a while for the body to get used to it. Even though I read many “reviews” on their site from customers saying they felt effects immediately. Do not waste your money.

Aside from the taste, it gives the the effects I want. Strong too
