3 years later…
It’s been 3 years since I bought this controller and now it’s on its last legs, problems are now stick drift, R2 and L2 you have to push down hard in order for them to register input, when I’m watching YouTube or set it down to do something it disconnects to preserve battery but it fails to connect back to the PS3 about 80% of the time now and it doesn’t charge fully it only charges to about 2 bars, I do still recommend this it’s a great controller and I give it props for lasting this long.

So I bought 2 of this controller. I opened the first one the day they arrived, I believe it would have been no later than August 10, 2018 and I placed the order on August 4, 2018. I loved this controller. It's PS3 shaped so that's great for me as I have smaller hands, and overall for the price got good use out of this one. The first controller lived until 2 days ago (8/17/2019). For 1 day, before I retired it, my cam in game would randomly start rotating. Most gamers know that the right joystick controls the cam, so it would get stuck in a spin somehow. I finally opened the second controller the day the first one failed and today (8/19/2019) the left joystick would get stuck to the left so that I would just walk left in a straight line and when I hit objects it would just keep trying to go left, so two days before this one also failed.EDIT: (8/23/2019) The second controller works fine as long as it's not plugged in, so still still not working properly, and an inconvenience as once it's charged down I can't use it again until it's fully charged. So overall I'm going to give this controller a 3.5 (updated 8/23/2019) out of 5 due to reliability. Seems like it's a crap shoot on if you will get one that works or one that doesn't. Might be better to try a different more expensive controller to guarantee that it will work for any prolonged period of time.

Decent price for the Decent quality
Okay, so this is my take on this 3rd party PS3 controller. It came within 2 days and I was excited to start playing my old PS3 (I didnt have a controller at all..) Once I opened it up. I will admit, it was stunning. It came with 2 joystick rubber caps and the controller itself. I was like a kid opening a Christmas gift. HOWEVER.. I did notice it did not come with a usb charger, luckily I had one lying around so i was okay. I paired and it was ready to go. I have the 1st gen PS3 so I can play all of my PS1, PS2, and PS3 games all on the same console.[Before I had a run down 3rd party controller that played games decently the only thing was the fact that the right joystick was stuck in the foward/right position without me touching it. It was okay as long as I didnt play games that didnt require the use of the right joystick. I only could play ps1 games. Ps2 game required a Dualshock 2 or 3 controller connected. And the same goes for Ps3 so it was a little of a bummer.]This one was nicely made. Dualshock 3 controller with vibrational features enabled. PS1, PS2, and PS3 games were able to be played flawlessly. HOWEVER... A slight little deadzone in the right joystick was found so shooter games were out of the question.. but over all a good controller especially being wireless and all. It's a decent controller.

Pretty great for the price.
I've had this controller for around 3 weeks but I haven't used it all that much yet. When I received it I immediately plugged it into my ps3 & turned it on, it connected in the blink of an eye & worked instantly & the battery life seems good. I've tried playing a few different games (Watch Dogs, Crysis 3, Batman: Arkham City & Assassin's Creed Black Flag. ) it doesn't work as smoothly as the Sony controller especially the analog sticks, the buttons press a little harder & the trigger buttons (L1, L2, R1, R2) aren't as sensitive as I'd like. It makes driving difficult. All in all it's a decent replacement if u can't afford an original Sony controller. For $13 u really can't go wrong with it, my biggest concern is it didn't come with a cord & it was just in a plastic bag. It does turn off if u don't use it for a few minutes so if you get caught up doing something else you won't be wasting battery.

Great quality and feels really good control-wise.
It's quite well built, with no loose-feeling buttons or analog sticks. The shapes of the L2/R2 buttons and Anaolog Sticks are very nicely designed and more comfortable than my Sony PS3 controller. It's got a nice, heavy feel to it, compared yet again to the Sony controller, which is very light and almost cheap feeling for a First Party Controller. Buttons are very responsive, and no lag whatsoever! I am very impressed. I was going to buy this as just a second controller but it's quickly taken over as my go-to. I do hear something shaking within the controller, but considering the Sony Controllers do that too, I don't think it' a case of bad design or quality, and it hasn'5 caused anything bad as of yet.Have not had it long enough to know how long the battery lasts, but thus far I've only had to charge it once(When I first recieved it) TL;DR, a very nice controller, to the point I might retire my old First Party Controller and grab another of these.

Its Good
I just needed a PS3 controller but it feels kinda cheap. If that makes sense. Despite that it works and plays well. Maybe a little cheaper but that is just me.
