The media could not be loaded. Roborock Q5, is a robot can vacuum only , no mopping function. After I bought the Roborock S7 on Amazon Prime Day last year, the Q5 was exactly what I am looking for. The roborock Q5 will be great suitable for my second floor on my house, my second floor have four carpet room.The coming product box is well packed . It is including the base and the robot two part . By directly plug together, tighten the screws, very simple and easy. Since I already have experience on the roborock app, So I use it more clear and easier 。First of all, I directly added new equipment Q5 on the APP. And let the robot explore the full second floor for the first time. The multi-function room on the second floor of my house was blocked by certain furniture, But the robot is so smart. It could “shuttle “ up and down without any obstacles. The map was completed very soon.Excellent cleaning effectAfter few days using this product, the Q5 I would say it got excellent cleaning effect. It move around very smart , even the corners of the wall and the furniture, It move in and out , and very closed to the wall. After placing some shredded paper on the floor, the robot went back twice and sucked it, nothing is behind. There were no pets at my home, so the hair and dust will be most dirts on my home. it has such stong suction for the carpet . Every time after using it, I feel clean and happy . Because my boy always like to lie down on the floor when he is playing. After using , the robot it got some hair tangled in a scroll . It better to be cleaned by every time, it is easy. The cleaning effect I will give 4.8 of 5 full score. The robot Q5 is great to helps the floor keep clean in the convenient way.Intelligent voice managementBy APP we can adjust the amount of the voice , it can be get louder or lighter. And it got night time “silence” mode, it is the least noisy , It is really important function for me. Especially we have a baby boy at home. When the baby take a snap, I can still use it in light voice mode. And also even use most powerful mode , the voice it still be ok for me.Smart Ability to recognize obstaclesThis Q5 is smart enough , the function to recognized obstacles is so so important for a robot. the obstacles mentioned earlier, the three circular on the robot bottom pedestals identified very well. In places like rooms, cabinets, and walls, the robot won't bump into them, it'll so close to them and do his job.Enough Battery lifeThe battery life it said can last 180 minutes for full use. I remember my first cleaning, electricity shows it is only more than 75%, for my four rooms, is still sufficient enough. When the battery going low, it will automatically going back to Station to charge , after having enough battery it will continue his job and finish it .Overall, it was a very satisfying shopping experience.if you are looking for a robot only be vacuum like me , I will highly recommend this product !!!

I got this robot back in August 2023This is our third vacuum robot, the first 2 were ok but this one...the other two do NOT compare to this one. I selected the one that do not have a self cleaning base, I don't mind emptying the collecting canister, which, by the way, is very small.The technology is amazing, but not perfect. The laser radar system is AWESOME with big, medium and even some small objects, but when it comes to cables, make sure that they are not on the ground when the robot is cleaning. We use wee wee pads for our dogs, and those are not recognized either. But besides that, this robot is amazing.When it comes to the wee wee pads, we have two in the home, so I put a "no go zone" where they are and the robot will not bump into them. The mapping its amazing and the robot cleans systematically room by room. When the robot does the first mapping you can name each room, you can schedule the robot to do cleanings either for all the rooms or just some of the rooms in the house. The robot recognizes carpet and will increase power suction when is on carpet surfaces, then when it goes back to floor (tile in my case) it will resume the default suction power. You can set up no go zones and invisible walls that work perfectly. During the cleaning, you can open the app and see your map and see where the robot is. There is also a remote Control option. Once the robot finishes cleaning, it will go back to the base, directly to the base, not wondering all over the house until it finds it, nope, the robot actually makes a bee line towards the charging base. The robot has also a robot voice and will send you notifications to your phone when it start cleaning, if they are being obstructed and when they are finish cleaning and going back to the base.The app is easy to set up and if you play with it, there are multiple options and choices to chose from. I think you can change the direction that the robot sues to clean, but I am satisfied with how the robot do the cleaning so I haven't felt the need to change it.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.
