It works and powers up with HDMI signal receiving with in 20 seconds.
This wireless HDMI works perfect! I added a second receiver and it registered quickly.. so far so good, will see how long it lasts. I have it linked up in a line of site setup, no wall, all open air... distance from transmitter to receiver modules is 80 ft. delay is about 1/2 second from original signal.. not a concern since its used for presentations with no sound. Have not seen a signal drop yet! fingers crossed.

PERFECT for what I needed
I wanted to be able to pick up shows on my Spectrum Cable (which is in my Den) at my TV that was at the pool (about 40 yards from my Spectrum modem). I set this up and it worked immediately. I can pick up High Def, 1080P movies as well as the TV shows clearly and the sound is perfectly synchronized. IR works great. Can change channels and control DVD player and Spectrum Modem (which are located in the house) from the pool.

This connected to the other set without any problem.
I utilized this with another set. it connected quickly but had a problem with being on for a prolonged period.I found that If you left it on for more than 24 hours it would over heat. I then set it up to turn off with the monitor I was using. after that everything was fine. Good picture quality. ran a PowerPoint presentation on the monitors and the picture was the same as it was on the laptop I was using.I would recommend this product for anyone who wanted to display their work on multiple displays spaced far apart. No Expensive Cable runs.

NOPE! Beware! These UNITS have a sleep mode and will not wake back up!
Installed a few of these systems in a church that has a slab floor and no attic so no good way to run cable. These units are a GREAT IDEA, worked AT FIRST, then I found one HUGE design flaw and weeks and weeks of returning trying to figure out whats wrong! , it has a sleep mode and won't wake back up! In my case the units looked great passing video and graphics from a computer to a few big screen TV's mounted up high in a Church. The problem is after a weekly Service the Church turns the computer off and when returning the next Sunday these units would NOT connect! I talked with tech support and he confirmed what I had to learn. When these units do not see or detect a signal for a long period of time ( In my case 7 days ) The units go to sleep and the ONLY way to wake them its to disconnect the AC power to BOTH ( Not just one but both units, The transmitter and receiver ) BOTH must be unplugged from the wall power to reconnect. IF the sleep mode could detect the signal from a PC, cable box etc when it was turned back on that would be great ( and a normal design) but that IS NOT HOW THIS BOX IS DESIGNED! IF sleeps you MUST pull power and plug power back in and that was confirmed by J-Tech customer support! That was a problem as my TV's and power connection are 16' off the floor.IF you are buying these for home use it may work but I know my cable box has a sleep mode and if you were to go on a week vacation you would need to unplug power to both units when you return. The fact the many people would mount this unit behind a wall mounted TV , IF your AC power is also behind the TV you may be required to remove the TV or at a minimum reset a circuit breaker just so these units would talk and connect again. This product is so close to being perfect then I find it has a sleep mode for some reason.I had to return...

Great devices work as expected
Setup is easy, quality for display screen is awesome no timing issues nor locking up. Sometimes to make the IR to work you need to restart both devices if they have been on for a long time.Heat dissipation could be improve as devices get real hot but so far I have been enjoying the wireless transmitter receiver.I added a second receiver but I think that should be cheaper to add just a 2and receiver.

good video, slightly flaky audio
I purchased 1 transmitter and 2 receivers. Overall good quality picture, no issues. Have ~40 feet between tx and rx with 2 walls. The audio does go mute every couple days. I have the cable box hdmi output connected to the tx. Both rx units go mute, thevideo remains. To fix, I can unplug/plug hdmi cable or reset tx unit. So the issue appears to be related to the hdmi audio channelprocessing in the tx unit. jtech support was good on this. I had several email exchanges with Nathon. In the end, he said they haveseen this a couple times and have no root cause. We tried various things, but nothing physically will fix it. The issue is in the tx unit.jtech offered to send a replacement, but I would need to send the faulty unit. I would be down the 2 tvs connected to the rx units if Idid that. So given jtech wasn't able to solve the issue, and I didn't want to expend much more time on it, I decided to live with it. I'llprobably exchange the cable box soon, maybe that will make good things happen.

No need to spend time installing cable runs.
I purchased this kit to use with my video security system located in a back bedroom to transmit the video signal from my NVR to my TV located in my living room (about 50 feet) and it works great. Since the transmitter will work with two receivers I will be installing a 2nd receiver/monitor in my basement so I can observe outside activity while working in my basement. Since the transmitter/receiver(s) are plug and play there is no need to spend time running any cables to deliver the video signal.

Wireless HDMI works flawlessly
When a satellite technician broke the ends of my HDMI cables in my RV, it appeared I was going to have a huge problem running new cables. Estimates were over $2,000 with lots of superficial damage to the interior of our new coach. I looked at replacing the ends on each cable, equally a nightmare. Finally someone suggested wireless HDMI. It works like a charm, and the satellite technician was happy to foot the bill. I am extremely pleased with the product.
