I am an older athlete and was wiped the day after a hard work out. Reading up on it I found out it would help to replenish my cells immediately after the work out. Saw this product tried it and it worked. I only need one scoop but it has to be within 30 minutes of ending your workout or exercise. The sugars are a very important part of it for older athletes.

I've relied on Endurox for several years to provide good rehydration and recovery when embarking on exercise for longer than 4 or 5 hours at a time and liked the Lemon Lime flavor, even if it was a little odd. Having a serving of Endurox after a long ride or hike made a huge difference for my recovery and I always paid the price when I didn't have it. However, the new chocolate flavor is amazing - it's nearly as good as chocolate Quik with whole milk when you just mix it with water. With the old flavors I knew I should drink the stuff for my own good, but now I simply want to drink it all the time because it's delicious!!

I saw this Endurox product in a bike shop, and thought I'd try it out. Amazon had a better deal, so I got it here. I play competitive Ultimate frisbee, and I've used this powder in the middle of the day at a tournament to help keep my energy up and also at the end of the day to help me recover for the next day. This powder actually tastes good, and I do think it helps a lot more than just having a protein shake after a long day.Alternatively, you can also drink chocolate milk if you don't want to pay for the powder. I often use small cartons of chocolate milk as a recovery drink for less intense workouts, but when I need serious recovery, I always go for my Endurox R4.
