IlluMask - LED Anti-Aging Light Therapy Mask for Younger Looking Skin In Just 15 Minutes Every Day

This is my 4th Illumassk! I purchased the others from Walmart, but I was having a hard time finding them anymore. I love it and but I don't use it everyday because you only get 30 uses. That is why I am giving it 4 instead of 5 stars.Whenever I want to look especially good or I am having some skin issues, I will use it. Every time I use it, I can tell a difference. It would be hard to photograph the difference because it just plumps me up, I look younger and fresher and my makeup turns out great. Right now I am dealing with an allergic reaction on my face due to a topical product and the Illumask is helping to speed healing. The Illumask is my favorite thing for my face because it's not topical. When you have sensitive skin there is always a fear that you will get a bad reaction to a new product. I love beauty and skincare products but they don't always love me back. I never have to worry about that with the mask.When I use the mask, I always follow with a moisturizer because it can feel a bit dry after. I use unscented and hypoallergenic, but use whatever day cream you usually use. If you have oily skin, you may not need anything. I also have found much better results looking good throughout the day by using it in the morning, not the night before. I also notice that I need more powder throughout the day. I don't know if it's because of collegan production or what, but I do look more dewy.I bought this fourth one to freshen my skin as my son's graduation is coming up and that means lot's of pictures. I am also using a glycolic peel I bought on amazon, for my forehead and hands. I may move to a more expensive unit that doesn't limit you to 30 uses because the led red lights have been so effective for me. If you have any questions, just ask and I will do my best to answer.

I have all three - eye, acne and wrinkle version. I've hacked all of them after researching online so that I can use them as much as I want. It's ridiculous that it's set for only 30 uses when it can work far, far longer. They should just charge more and take off the restriction. Apparently they are working on a new mask, maybe this will be the case with the new versions. Effects are temporary - if you stop using, you lose the benefits. I use it for 30 minutes. I have to set an alarm since after hacking it there is no timer and to turn it off you unplug the cord from the remote. If I start to get a pimple, just one 30 minute session seems to make the pimple go away within a day. I don't have serious acne but do suffer from occasional and sometimes stubborn blemishes. I find if I use the wrinkle mask regularly my skin is much more glowy, slightly firmer and wrinkles are somewhat diminished. Not a miracle but definitely a noticeable difference. I think using it 30 minutes rather than 15 minutes also helps a lot. I do wish the eye guard was better. I actually am concerned about that. I'm very interested to see what their new product is, and I hope it's not the same set-up where they limit it to 30 uses because I find that just a disgusting thing to do to the environment. Total landfill abuse. That aside, I absolutely believe it works. I have a handheld device that has a lot more LEDs and it seems logical that it would be more effective, but it isn't (weird) and the mask is way more convenient. I wish there was a neck version.

First I keep getting emails from the manufacturer to review this. Second, three stars is a struggle but 2 is too low. I have been using this for less than 30 days. Unfortunately, the manufacturer should to be in a hurry for my review as it will not boost sales. I bought this mask to reduce dark spots and help with fine lines (lines and wrinkles are not my main concern). I have 4 days left and I cannot say this has done much. My skin may appear to be a bit brighter (but could it be the other skin care products I am using doing that). I see no change in the dark spots, my skin is drier and no change in pore size. If I can do the reset, I MIGHT continue to use it if I can do the reset. Otherwise, I would not purchases another one. One other note, as far as relaxing! It is not! I am not claustophobic but by 10 minutes I am ready to pull that thing off my face, the last 5 minutes are a serious struggle!

Listen, I am no fantasizer. I have literally thousands of dollars of expensive creams in my graveyard cabinet in my bathroom . Did not improve or work.I used this mask after I saw it at Walmart -$30.00. After using it for one week I noticed all the fine, deep lines around my mouth (former smoker many years ago)had noticeably diminished. Contrary to a report from a scientist that this mask had the efficacy of a string of LED Christmas lights, I had several of my friends who saw me less than 10 days prior asked what I was doing to my face. When I told them.they laughed but went out and bought it. IT WORKS FOR ME. Smoother, removed , yes removed deep facial lines- gone. The company says they are coming out with a new type of mask but so far no city mentioned which makes me mad so we can buy up all the old stock etc . Buy the unit with the removable remote and you can rig it or purchase twenty dollar refills on Ebay. It is a keeper for me. If you do not buy it that is , of course ,with respect leaves more for me but I intend you get this rigged .I found this nice guy on Ebay who fixed my old mask for $25 until it finally fell apart after over 200 uses! Works best with the plug in remote but still can adapted need a rubber band around the battery compartment. No big deal. Found it works. Even my skeptical, never noticing anything on me husband noticed improvements. How great is that????

I sent back the one sell by Buy More Store because it was defective. Got one from M31 Online. And that works just fine. I don't see any drastic changes. I have 19 sessions left. But it's the easiest treatment I could have asked for! I'll update my review after the 30 treatments.***UPDATEFinished the 30 treatments and it had DONE absolutely anything for me. My husband noticed that towards the last 10 treatments the light wasn't as bright as it was at the beginning. I usually had the lights in the room off when I used it. Right in the trash it went!
