Fodor's Sicily (Full-color Travel Guide)

Hotel and restaurant reviews are a bit subjective, but lots about the country, history and culture.

Thorough. So much info, so many suggestions, so many details. The book is revised every so often, in order to be as up-to-date as possible. The maps are wonderful and well placed. The book is well put together, well thought out, which makes it easy as a reference book. While reading it, I underlined the most important data, which later made it even easy to review (remind myself) of cities, areas, things I wanted to see, etc. This was my first Fodor's, and personally, I preferred it over Rick's.

The quality is not the same as all of Fodor’s Travel books that I have had. The paper and print quality is below standard.

My wife and I will make our 4th trip to Sicily in the past eight years. Despite all we’ve learned from prior visits, the new Fodor’s guide still added greatly to our insights about Sicily. We highly recommend this wonderful guide.
