It will kill your bees, when it gets low or empty, the bees will crawl inside and get trapped and die. There has been as many as a double handful of dead bees, several times a week. I'm throwing mine away, my colonies are lessening the more I try to feed and strengthen them.

The opening does not move fluid enough to get into the saucer. The bees clog up the small opening that fluid is to come out and therefore reducing the amount until no fluid gets into the saucer. I tried using a shim to til the back up so more fluid would drain into the saucer, but did not work,

These containers are too small for my purposes. Wish it was quart sized.

I bought this product thinking it was a good feeder for my bees. Turns out there too small and the water doesn’t flow out enough. It has to much of a sucking and does flow out to the tray. Not happy. The little bit of water that comes out doesn’t feed the bees and there all climbing up on top of each in clusters.

This is a torture device for dehydrated bees. They can see all of this glorious water, glistening in the relentless sun and not a drop will be released.I’m pretty sure that rather than the usual friendly buzz, when I come out, I hear boos. I can only assume that was their review of the product. I even tried to modify it, nothing. The water pad was as dried up and great great aunt Millie.Perhaps you could consider a bee waterer that actually allows water to come out?
