Excellent Quality - Steady As A Rock Too
I've had this tripod for 1.5 years now. I own two other tripods, both from Manfrotto, are aluminum, one is the classic 3011, can't remember the other model ATM. It is a big green one, both get left behind when I go out to shoot pics and videos. This tripod holds my rather large Nikon P1000 camera steady as a rock. No need for carrying 2 or 3 tripods when this one does the work just fine. I like the cell phone attachment bracket, it works great and does not interfere with the P1000 on the tripod. I can get wide angle and telephoto videos at the same time.I've also used this with a video head to hold a large astronomic binocular, 16x80 Orion bino. Once I get the height adjusted there is nothing to do but scan the Milky Way! I also put my 72mm ED telescope on the video head, once again, steady as a rock. I had a 25x100mm bino for a time but found the video head would need upgrading to be able to hold such a monster sized bino steady on the tripod. I opted to keep my 16x80mm bino and sell the monster! The weak link was my video head, which I paid a lot for, and wasn't willing to upgrade it just for a few nights per year out under the stars with that big bino.I have no idea how these tripods will hold up over time, but they do seem to be well built, and quite solid as a platform for taking images and video, and work just fine as an astronomic base too. I haven't had any problems with this tripod, it just works! The legs are adjusted by a ring mechanism that tightens on the legs to hold things in place. They work well and are intuitive to use.

Great tripod
Wanted a taller more stable tripod without a center support & this tripod has it all. Didn't need a 75 mm bowl so settled for a 65mm instead. Also like that it comes with spikes as well.

Excellent tripod with a great price
The tripod is great, I really like it. I haven't used it much, but it feels like it will last a long time. The pictures do not show the tripod I got, I think they are old. In fact, you get a much better version with rubber protection on one leg instead of spongy and with a hook. The tripod actually weighs 1.65 kg (I weighed it), not 1.8 kg as it says. The included bag is high-quality and padded and can accommodate a tripod with a ball head. I haven't tried the leveling base because I don't need it.

Head mount failure after just a few months
The legs are sturdy and seem well built. They are relatively lightweight. Sadly after just a few months ownership, the half-bowl head mount has proved unreliable. The problem is two fold:1. The base screw that can sets the angle can work free easily.2. The base plate and screw (that connects to a video head) is made of cheap metal and threaded on just the 2nd ever time I tried to remove it. This meant it actually got stuck to my video head and took me an hour to remove. Now I can no longer attach the plate securely to a video head, rendering this tripod useless.I will be warrantying this unit as this is unacceptable.
