It is solidly built, my only issue is that the top sometimes is hard to get off, but I guess that feature is needed to keep the contents fresh.

I gifted this to my neighbor and she loves it. She said it has plenty of room, and loves the way it looks.

I have been debating over getting a bread box for awhile. Always had one growing up --finally got tired of the bread being all over the kitchen instead of one spot. Saw this & it is just my style, I love the vintage & rustic old tyme look. Just got it today and its condition is perfect, I have put in two loaves of multigrain bread and a loaf of fresh (sliced) Italian bread, they fit perfectly and I think I could actually fit another if needed. I love the look and the size is perfect. if this is your style, definitely order it!
