My husband cuts large amounts of vegetables to freeze and use later (batches of around 30 lbs). Before these gloves, he was cutting himself almost every time. Since he has been using the gloves, he has not had one cut, even though the knife has slipped and it normally would have cut him. He uses the Wusthof Vegetable knife and sharpens it before each batch - just to give you an idea of the sharpness.
