The Enemy's Triumph (Age of the Andinna) Paperback – 18 Jun. 2020

This was unbelievably good. It broke my heart, fixed it up, and reminded me how enjoyable character development can be. I've read so many brilliant authors where character development, world building, and necessary non-action based plot points were just a necessary, yet boring evil to get through. They'd add to the richness of the world but they would be a slog to get through. This book was NOTHING like that. Kristen has the art of making these important world building pieces enjoyable down.Nothing feels like filler, nothing is boring, it's all either heart racing, heart breaking, or heart warming. You can tell she enjoys writing every aspect of these stories, because as a reader, you enjoy reading them. The relationships are so natural, the characters and their flaws are so natural, their growth? You guessed it; so. F-ing. Natural.If you haven't started this series, you're only punishing yourself. You will get hooked and you will hang on every single word.

Kristen came through once again. However, the first 60% was a bit annoying in some sense, I was expecting more drama when the gladiators came, not total forgiveness so quickly. Personally I wanted 72 to die a slow and painful death. Then there was poor Trevan, I didn’t like how he was ignored at first. By 70% all my characters found sense and everything started going great. I can’t wait for the next instalment. Nyria is the best undercover EVER!!!

So, book 4 of 6 simply pulled me deeper into this series. The war has started and now we seem to know exactly who is on which side. Mave continues to grow and change from the gladiator slave we first met, into a real champion, but there seems to be more to come as a god now seems interested in her! I cannot wait for the next book!

Elvasi in the sky! Battles, secrets and betrayal, rousing speeches, new relationships and so much more. I want to tell you what happens but you should read it for yourself. I was unsure until the end who the enemy was... I couldn't stop reading.

I love the characters Mave's especially from the pits to home all the books well written roll on the next can't wait hurry it along it's like you're in the middle of the story just watching everything happening then waiting for the next instalment

It was amazing, I have no words to describe it. I read it all in one sitting and literally could not put it down!! I can't wait for the next one. I need (like really really really) need to know what happens next.

This one was a little slower than the rest but it still tugged me in just as much as the others. Four of six. SIX! Who is the final harem member?
