"Made in China", so the claim it would be German Beech seems to be misleading.

It's Beautiful!
We love it, we love the size. It's difficult to find a 13 ft. umbrella. The rope is a little thin compared to our last umbrella, hope it holds up. Also, the fabric is thin, perhaps it's a new fabric. It looks beautiful, we've already got compliments. I thought the price was a little high, but the ones that are cheaper, are flimsy. We are enjoying it, hope we get many years out of it. I would recommend it.

BIG UMBRELLA DOES'T HOLD WIND
Poor quality...main wooden pole wobbled...item used one month then stored.when reopened item was moldy, wood and cover, very unattractive. Very unhappywith item.Martin Harrington

Perfect size for our patio table.
Umbrella was just as it was described. Delivered on time and in great condition. The fabric is a lot lighter than the last 13' umbrella that this replaced. Wish there was an option to choose sunbrella fabric. It has been setup for 1 month on the Patio and it is easy to open/close. My test is how this will look in 2 years.
