Perfect work keyboard
I needed something simple but high functioning for my daily work keyboard. I'm sitting at this desk 9 hours a day and I could not take the office's basic sticky keyboard anymore so I wanted to get a simple, understated but quality replacement and I am very pleased with this. I didn't need all the bells and whistles of a gaming keyboard and tbh the RGB tends to be really distracting for me so I appreciate a low profile professional option like this. The brown switches are great, I love how springy and tactile they are.I did end up getting new keycaps because I don't like the curved/tiered shape of the ergonomic style they have. I have spent most of my life on laptops so I prefer a low, consistent profile keycap. The originals felt pretty solid and good quality though so if you like a curved profile then I am sure these are great. The keycaps were very easy to switch out, you can pull the keycaps right off and pop on new ones no problem. Non-hotswappable means you can't change the switches. I'm not bothered by this because I already know what I like and I don't feel like sinking a bunch of money into customizations. Also it makes a great noise I sound so productive. My boss has passed my office and commented on how much he loves the sound of this clicking away. Twice. Thanks for making me look good ;)Overall I'd highly recommend! Solid, simple, professional, and a great price!

Perfect entry level or budget mechanical keyboard.
This keyboard has definitely exceeded my expectations. I also own a couple other mechanical keyboards and would definitely recommend this keyboard to anyone wanting to try one out before purchasing a more expensive model. I bought this keyboard to replace my keyboard at work and have been very pleased with it. The keyboard I use at home is a Corsair K70 with red switches, and I would say the overall quality of the EagleTec keyboard is comparable to the Corsair and significantly less expensive. I would have no trouble recommending this keyboard to a friend, and have already done so.Pros: The chassis top plate is aluminum with a similar look and build quality to Corsair's. It has some weight to it and feels sturdy. The key actuation is what you would expect from a blue switch. I did end up putting dampening rings on this keyboard, but mostly just to keep my coworkers happy, as it is a bit loud. There are a ton of backlit or RGB LED models out there and you could pay way more, but this model was perfect for my needs. I didn't need any bells or whistles and didn't care about lightning.Cons: While I am very happy overall with the keyboard, I have noticed the key caps have started to fade after only using it for two or three weeks. I noticed it first on the C, V, CTRL and Backspace keys but it has started to become noticeable to some degree on all of the letter keys now. The keys themselves have very slight indentions where the letters are and there is paint or enamel in those indentions for the key letters. I have noticed that after a bit of wearing the keys don't seem to be losing much color anymore, but most are a bit grayish now rather than the stark white they were when I purchased the keyboard. I wouldn't say this is a huge deal for me since, like I said, I didn't buy the keyboard for looks but because I wanted a solid mechanical keyboard to use while at work. Overall, 5/5, would purchase again.

Good for a working mechanical keyboard
I was tired of the awful work-provided keyboards at my office, so i thought i'd spend a bit and get an upgrade. I also didn't want to spend a lot of money since this will be living at the office and didn't want it to be gaudy with unnecessary lights. This definitely fits the bill. Cheap, no lights, and basic brown switches so it isn't too loud but a huge leap ahead of the on-hand crap they hand out at the office. The metal construction means it's pretty heavy and solid, and with mechanical keys (even if they are just brown switches) it's much nicer to type on than the Dell or Logitech stuff that's standard issue at my work. The only complaint is the backspace key is uncharacteristically mushy compared to all the other keys. There is no obvious reason I can see looking at the key and switch. All in all a huge improvement over what I had. Perfect basic mechanical keyboard for work.

Life-changing (or rather typing-changing) keyboard
The delivery truck probably has not yet left the neighborhood, and here I am, already writing a review. It is love at first type. Since this is my first mechanical keyboard, I guess since the 1980s or so, and I cannot compare it like others have to what real cherry keys feel like. But I feel like these keys are pulling the words out of my fingers rather than my fingers typing them in. It is much faster, and although the 2 millimeters that this keyboard is narrower than my old one required a bit of adapting, it is a much better typing experience. After years of typing on a laptop keyboard, then a Microsoft wireless, and then on a cheap although aesthetically pleasing keyboard that was losing letters here and there, I have found my true love.It is certainly louder than the plastic sound of a non-mechanical keyboard (so no more typing while on the phone with someone), but the sound is so much more pleasant and satisfying and feels almost natural, like plastic on metal rather than plastic on plastic. And yes, it does bring me back to those times long ago when I was typing away papers all throughout the night. Will never go back to non-mechanical.As for the looks: stunningly beautiful! I got the white/aluminum version, and it looks amazing on my desk. I thought the wired rather than wireless would bother me but since the cord is white on a white desk, it is not too bad. And I thought it may look too bulky, but it looks elegant instead. Also, just as a side note, while comparing different products, I was staring at KG011 and KG011-N for hours until finally getting the difference. It's the font on the keys. KG011-N has regular sans-serif font on the keys whereas KG011 has an industrial font. Since I am not a gamer but a writer, I liked the KG011-N keys better.

Quiet keyboard with adequate tactile feedback
The keys are Cherry Brown, so they are quiet and do have enough feedback to make typing so much more easier. There is good backlighting - in white - and I like that as I require the keys to be lit to type and not really a gamer to feel in the dark for multicolor keys.

Highly reliable, well made, simple yet elegant, good typing feel
This is my second Eagletec keyboard. My first one was essentially the same keyboard but with blue switches. I have used that one at work for programming and documentation for the last 2 years and love it.When it came time to replace my Logitech gaming keyboard (MX Brown switches) at home which had started to break down (after only 2 years!), I searched to see if Eagletec made a brown switch version of the same keyboard, and they did! I have been using this keyboard for a few weeks now, and it's just as good as the last keyboard I ordered. This keyboard has good workmanship and the materials feel very nice. The anodized aluminium top plate is elegant, durable and feels good to the touch. The keycaps feels nice and solid and don't have that cheap feeling you sometimes get with dodgy keyboards. I am still using the same keycaps on my last Eagletec after 2 years of hard use while I had to change the ones on my Logitech, so that's a testament to their quality. There are obviously better and more expensive keycaps out there, but these are totally fine. The backlight is not uber-bright yet very clear, and that's fine with me since I don't like my keyboard burning my retinas. You can adjust the intensity the backlight as well as turn on many animated and interactive backlight modes, if you like these things. You can also lock the Start button to avoid triggering it during a gaming session. The status lights (Caps lock, num lock, scroll lock) however, are too bright and blue, and can get a bit annoying. In conclusion, if you want a reliable, simple and well made mechanical keyboard either for gaming or typing, these keyboards are hidden gems. No marketing, no gimmicks, no fancy box, just a good slab that feels good to type on.I highly recommend adding O-rings to the keycaps to improve the typing experience. I use black 40A 1.5mm o-rings to improve the feel and reduce the noise a bit. Always use a keycap puller and not your hands to remove the keycaps! For those who know, these keyboards use Outemu switches. They sometimes get a bad rep, but I got nothing bad to say about them. They really feel like Cherry MX switches, maybe a bit heavier, which I prefer. Some people really prefer the Gateron switches, but I only have experience with Cherry, Outemu and Razer switches. Outemu felt the best for me honestly. They really need the O-rings though.

Actually a really great value for the money
It's getting harder and harder to find mechanical keyboards with brown switches, regardless of who makes those switches. There's pretty much zero flex on the deck which is great when typing a lot. The keyboard doesn't have that annoying ping that less expensive keyboards use and I actually appreciate the lack of RGB on the keyboard since I bought the one with the white backlight. I use the keyboard for writing code, not gaming and don't need any of that RGB.The key presses are louder than you would think, but I guess a typist would appreciate that. As for the tactile "bump", you don't really feel that so much as the resistance of the keystroke itself that makes it feel like a typists keyboard.Overall, really like it. Wish it was just a smidge quieter and that the tactile bump was a little bit more pronounced.

Good Barebones Mechanical Keyboard
I haven't had any other mechanical keyboards so I don't have much to compare to but I quite like this keyboard, especially for gaming. I am probably going to get a rest pad so I can rest my palms on something while I am typing. The backlighting is very nice not overly bright but definitely all that you need. Not sure about the durability of this yet but I will keep this review updated.**UPDATE**After just over one year of use I am starting to experience problems that another reviewer has also expressed. Every so often the N key will drop inputs and sometimes doubles enter N when that key is pressed. This is quite unfortunate as I have quite enjoyed this keyboard. I will be reaching out to the company about this issue and I will report back the outcome.I have contacted the customer support and then are unwilling to do anything as it is outside of the 1 -year warranty. Keep this in mind when purchasing.
