These are pretty cool but there are some issues that seem pretty obvious to me. Firstly, yes they do work, and surprisingly well. The heat seems to go straight through and you'll even get the metal grate "burn" marks through the bag. They feel like they are made from plastic, but look woven like they are stitched from cotton. It makes a grilled cheese or panini easy, and makes them an option for someone like me who wouldn't make one otherwise. You can also make grilled sandwiches without having to douse them in butter in a pan on on a george foreman. Now, the issues.Reusability; Huzzah for the environment, but I feel these would be much better as single use bags. They feel flimsy and plastic-y like a red solo cup, or plastic plate. They just have that disposable feel to them. It would also solve the second problem...Stickiness; They aren't really non-stick. Cheese will melt and burn to the inside and bottom of the bag, and cleaning them is...awkward. I'm never really quite sure when they are clean or not. The non-stick coating feels a lot like the cheese grease I was trying to clean off in the first place. I tried to dry one in the toaster after washing, DO NOT DO THAT. It burnt the bag. One down.Flipping the toaster; Your toaster is positioned vertically (If you're a sane human being). So a lot of the melted cheese is going straight to the bottom of that bag instead of staying inside the sandwich. My toaster will not go sideways due to the curve of the sides, and I'm not sure, but flipping your toaster on it's side seems like a fire hazard to me. The heat would raise up against the top wall and it usually just exits out the top.Size of toaster; First one out of the gate, I tried to make a panini. This quickly became a problem, as a toaster slot is designed to fit 1 slice of bread. The bag could not handle the height of my sandwich, and after sizing it down, my toaster could not handle the size. This one is very toaster-specific, so check the size of your toaster slot and realize that is how big your sandwich can be. Mine is about 1/2 an inch. I usually have to cram it down, then the toaster grates don't fully depress, then the bag is too close to the coils on the walls. A mess. I've reduced mine to grilled cheese making only.All-in-all they are nice to have for grilled cheese, but that's about it. I wouldn't recommend them for panini making.

Toaster-bag grilled cheese sandwiches - ROCK ON! And they last a good long time, too. I've used mine to make grilled cheese, to heat up frozen fish (sandwich planks), to make hot PBJ sandwiches, to make pepperoni chips...I've tried other brands but Eksel is my jam! Good product, good value for the money,

These bags get a little charred on the edges because they must be folded to be used with my toaster, I'll probably look for smaller bags next time. That said, they definitely do their job and hold up to repeated use!

I have two children with gluten food allergies, but as with most American families toast is a big part of our diet. We eat toast for breakfast, have toasted sandwiches, eat toast and jam for a snack. My biggest issue has been finding a way to keep bread gluten free even as it’s toasted. A friend, and fellow gluten-allergy mom, recommended these bags to me, and quite honestly, I don’t know how I’ve lived without them for so long.These bags are a great size. Perfect for ALL sizes of bread, including thicker slices. The big bag size can easily fit any kind of bread I put inside, which is convenient because now my kids can share the exact same meal with the rest of the siblings in the household. My only concern (and it’s quite small), is that I wish they were a little easier to clean. They can be kind of tough to get all of the way clean, just because they have tight corners. But, aside from that one small negative, these bags are a very positive product.The bags really do work. They are amazing and I was not expecting them to perform so well. But the toast comes out very crisp every single time. The bags have virtually no effect on the quality of the toast (which I was a bit concerned about at first). The toast is the same exact quality as toast made without the bag- aside from the fact, now the toast stays gluten free.I am going to buy two more sets. One- for work for me (because how can you refuse making crisp salmon melts in a clean toaster bag at work?- it’s awesome). And I’m going to purchase another set for traveling with my kiddos. We will no longer have to worry about trying to find gluten-free foods at any hotel continental breakfast!Overall, I am extremely impressed with these bags and happy with my purchase. I do recommend them for people out there in need of a gluten-free accessory. I love cooking, and I love trying new cookware products- but this specific product truly stands out as a great quality product that I find myself using again and again.

I had seen these toaster bags a few years ago and they looked interesting but I didn't buy them then. Just recently, I was diagnosed with celiac disease and one of the recommendations is to buy a separate toaster to avoid cross contamination. Well, I did not want to buy another or have counter space taken up with another appliance so I checked these bags out again. They do work well to keep my bread enclosed and not touching any of the toaster elements. They make great toast and also great grilled cheese and tuna melts in the toaster oven. The browning is very even and there is very little mess and no extra cookware to clean up. I have taken them on trips now to segregate my food and keep it gluten-free in other kitchens. A friend saw them and is going to get a set for her daughter who is highly gluten sensitive. I highly recommend them for both gluten-free use and for those who don't have to worry about gluten. Makes a nice grilled sandwich with no mess.

Didn’t fit my toaster so I returned. Although they seemed quality and I was disappointed that they didn’t have a smaller size.

I have celiac disease so when I found out about this product I couldn’t wait to try it! I’ve use it for toast and bagels several times and it’s worked great! I used them to reheat some leftover pizza in the toaster for the first time today and it tasted like it was fresh out of the oven (unlike soggy microwaved pizza).To clean it’s fairly easy I just turn it inside out and wash with a sponge and soap. Everything comes right off WITHOUT STUCKING!! I don’t even have to scrub! Then I leave it inside out to dry and it stands up on its own.

I love these things. I am celiac so use them for work, at family and friends places. I make grilled cheese in the toaster with them and they are amazing. I wash and reuse, and have had them for almost a year now and use them frequently and have had no issues!

If you don't want to by a press then this is the next best thing, as long a you take care of them. Depending on what thickness your toaters is you can always by thin sliced bread. Quick and easy with no mess!!

Works as advertised! You might have to adjust the toaster settings as it seems to make toast slightly faster. Will save me lots as hassle when traveling as I will not have to bring my own toaster along to avoid cross contamination; just one of these toaster bags. Easy to clean even after making a grilled cheese sandwich.Would recommend to other celiacs.
