My dog is a 14 yrs old senior citizen. The Oyefly Handbu is totally ineffective.
Not effective at all. Waste of money.

Useless product
Wasted my money on this repellent, it is lying as e-waste in my home. It has no effect on dogs, I have tried so many times in different modes as they mentioned in their manual, no response from dogs,.....simply it is waste product

It's useful to make stray dogs go away and to train my dog but quality could be much better
To be frank after using it, I could stop stray dogs further entering my compound as they are are not coming much often... And also I was able to train my boy as well for being too naughty and mischievous... But quality is not at all good... Atleast for the price, the quality of the product should have been much much better... Hope so next time better quality product will be delivered....

Cheap but effective
Its cheaply made but inexpensive and effective. Dogs definitely hear it, unless they're deaf 😂. Its effectiveness comes from how you use it for training your dog. There a medium setting just to get their attention or to prompt certain teachable commands, and a high or deterrent setting which terrifies some dogs. I've successfully used the high setting to break the bad habit of incessant barking from my 3 little indoor terriers, who used to bark a lot at visitors and guests. Not anymore. The size is not small enough for constant pocket carrying but fits in a coat pocket just fine for periodic use, something similar to a tv remote. Needs a 9v battery, not included. Also has a flashlight function without any sound signal. I guess could be used for visual training if that works for you and your pet. Cats also hear it but good luck training them 😂

Works and does not work
Works on strays, did NOT work on home pets and trained dogs, same thing with stray cats, worked on them but not home cats... so, 50/50 in my case. Was great help to get rid of strays around the parking lot when we were abroad this summer in eastern Europe.

This thing is like a magic wand for your dog.
We recently rescued a little Pomeranian cross who is very noisy and loves the sound of his own voice. Now I'm a dog lover, and I know that dogs like to speak their minds at times - but lets face it, there's appropriate barking and then there's inappropriate barking, and this little guy definitely prefers the latter sort. Especially when out for a walk and he spots another dog, a cat, a person, a leaf falling from a tree, or if he hears a bumble bee farting two counties away. It was next to impossible to stop him once he'd started. We don't blame the wee guy. He's a rescue, so god knows what kind of trauma he's been through, and I know that most inappropriate barking is caused by fear. We just needed to find a way to distract him in the moment when he was in a frenzy, so we could then reward him, make him feel safe and reinforce that no-barking behaviour.Believe me, we tried everything. Then I saw this device mentioned and advertised on a dog training forum. It was just under £50, and I'd have been happy to pay that if I knew for certain it would work.So I did as I always do and looked on Amazon to see if I could find any better prices for the same thing or something similar.Well, blow me, but I found this one.Seemingly the exact same device, but without a fancy brand name badge, and with a price tag of around ten quid.I got it ordered and it arrived the next day. Took the wee man out for a walk to test it, and we had INSTANT results.I honestly couldn't believe it.At the first sign of a growl or a yelp, just blip the button and the wee guy stops instantly and looks around him with a look of confusion, as if he's saying "what the heck was that? did anyone else hear that?".To human ears it's absolutely silent, but to my wee pooches ears it must be as loud as a brass band. This thing is incredible. It's about the size of a Firestick TV remote, so I now have a remote controller for my TV and for my dog.If you're having behavioural issues with a dog, I highly recommend this little device.Honestly, can't give this review enough stars.

Give a command
It worked on my dog. They do say in their ad that it may not be effective on all dogs. I would suggest to give a voice command in conjunction with pressing the button. Hopefully all you will need to do after a few sessions is just give the voice command to get your pet to respond. The range of the frequency is approximately 16'.
