ProForm 2000 Treadmill

Great treadmill! For a treadmill while jogging, it's pretty quiet. Nice bright display. Love the adjustable pad holder on top. Just enough arm length for grabbing and or holding if needed, but yet short enough not to get in the way. Using Bitgym app. instead of Ifit...cheaper and gets my head in another trail and or country while jogging. Treadmill is very sturdy and even when jogging, I don't hear my cell phone moving around in any of the holders provided. Love the dual fans! Works great. Allow for longer pads to fit pad holder...currently have to place Ipad sideways...not bad, so just a suggestions5. Book that explains all the varies workouts providedTotally recommend!

I have been using this treadmill for the last couple of weeks. Amazon gave me a coupon for a free install which was awesome. The guy came and it took him a solid 3 hours to put this together. There was a couple times he needed my help to hold something, which was easy. The sale price I paid for this was very comparable to many stores in my area, but they did not offer installation. There were so many pieces I would never want to attempt this on my own. That free install was the main reason I bought it on Amazon. The treadmill works great! It shows time elapsed and even the seconds which someone had written a review saying it didn't so that is not correct. The only thing that is missing from the display is your pace. This is not a deal breaker for me because I have a garmin watch I use which is also why I have not used the chest heart rate device that came with it yet.The treadmill moves easily with speed and incline. I love the tablet holder which I usually put my phone on to watch Netflix. It tilts so it won't fall off. The fans work well, better than the ones at my gym, but I still run a big box fan to help cool me off. The speakers don't seem to work well for t.v. shows from my phone so I just use my bluetooth headphones. Music may be different, I don't know. The treadmill is fairly quiet but you can definitely hear someone's feet hitting from another room. I love the 15% incline. I am very happy with this purchase. This treadmill has all the things I wanted and seems to be very close to ones I have used at the gym. Everything works just as it should and I have had no issues and no complaints about anything.I have not signed up for the ifit, too expensive.

As time goes by I will try and update this review with the most current information. I ordered this treadmill on December 21st and received it at my house on December 31st. The package came special freight delivery, hence the 10 day period. Upon arrival, I noticed the box was partially torn in a couple places but nothing that was major. The treadmill is extremely heavy, coming in at just under 300 pounds. You will definitely need an extra person or two to help move this to your room or area where you will use it. Assembling this treadmill wasn't extremely difficult but you will need additional tools not provided in the package. You will need a socket set and Phillips screwdriver to help assemble this treadmill. Overall assembly took about an hour and a half with 2 people. Instructions could have been a bit more detailed but overall were easy enough to figure out. After finally assembling the entire machine, we started it up and tested it out. Everything seems to be in working order out of the box and there were no squeaks, odd noises or belt slippage. Overall we are quite satisfied with this machine. 4 stars because of instructions being a bit vague at times and issues with registering the product for warranty purposes. I will try and update every couple months or so.***Update 2/24/17***Had this machine now for a couple months and it is still going strong. Everything works very well and the machine feels solid while running/walking on it. I usually do a couple miles a day on this thing and it never hesitates, stutters, or anything when increasing/decreasing speed or incline. Loving this thing so far and it has also helped me lose 20 pounds so far.

Don't buy this. I purchased in November 2017. It stopped working after eight weeks. After making three phone calls and waiting on hold for over an hour, ProForm said the problem was a "defective console". I was told the part was out of stock but they were receiving more that week and I should receive it within 2 weeks. 2 weeks later, nothing has arrived. I called again and was told that the "part is out of stock". No estimate on when they could ship but a promise they would email me three days from now to give me more information. So far I have been without a functioning treadmill for three weeks. Since you can purchase new machines still, seems like the "out of stock" problem only applies to fulfilling warranty obligations.If it works, then it is a good treadmill. But it hasn't worked for 3 of the 10 weeks that I have owned it.I will update this review if and when the treadmill is fixed.
