Unfortunately it came in a polythene bag that had been previously opened, so one can only assume, returned at some point.Apart from this, it does not deter myself in keeping the skimmer.Mine is the 16cm (6 1/4inch size old money)Well made and is very strong/ sturdy. One central wire spinning from the centre outwards till it merges with the outer ring, (there is another heavy ring halfway in, giving rigidity to the whole unit)The four heavier wires come up into the handle, with a hanging loop at the end.Was looking for a slightly larger skimmer for using in Wok's, where I shall be deep frying battered chicken pieces, hoping to try and make Pakora's ( vegetable and chicken ) and will be trying out others.Which this will do very nicely indeed.Would I buy this again, probably will buy this and one or two of the other sizes.Would I recommend this to others, without a doubt, YES I will and would.Hope this helps you.

It is a bit more expensive price but it is worth that. Very sturdy.

Lots of uses but I tend to use to get chips, potatoes etc out of hot air fryer. Nice quality.

De momento llevo unos días utilizandolo, se ve bastante resistente y de buena calidad, de todas maneras el tiempo dirá si es bueno o no

colador reforzado con anillo inferior junto al mango que lo hace mucho mas robusto que otros modelos sin ello
