I am so happy to have found this slip lead for my Boxer dog. It is the first lead that I have used that I can actually control him. He is a very strong dog with a mind of his own when it comes to walking under control. I am able to walk him with ease with no harsh pulling and jerking me out of my shoes! The slip loop goes right over his short nose with ease and doesn't leave any marks or irritation to him. I have tried many "gentle lead" leashes but haven't had any success. He gets all excited for his walks now. I will always suggest Fida to anyone that asks!

Like the slip lead. If you don’t have a good look at the metal and leather parts, you may end up using the lead incorrectly and your dog slipping out. Just look it over before you put it on first! I use this lead on a dog who doesn’t like to have his lead connected to his collar. Something about clipping in bothers him. I would definitely buy another lead from these folks.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:It met my needs for the length and material desired for a training leash. The previous one owned was not heavy enough to prevent pup from chewing. This one is better made.

I would shop with this particular seller again.Original review: Loved it for a few months, but the reflective layer became brittle and is very sharp and scratchy now. Have to buy a different one already cause I can’t stand it and feel like I need to wear gloves when walking the dog to protect my hands.

My dog's favorite lead. This is so easy to put on and take off. the material is thick and not to abrasive that it bothers me or my dog. The build quality is great and it is lasting through a lot of use. There is leather were the rope ends connect and this feels like it is going to last a lot longer. You can weave this a certain way and actually make a make shift harness out of this perfectly. There are youtube videos showing how to do this with something like this. Doing this harness trick with this really makes my dog stop pulling so hard. It is rather neat to see how that works and I recommend you try that with this lead if you have a dog that just won't stop pulling.All in all I am happy with this purchase and would have no problem buying another when this wears out.5 stars all the way!

Best leash I ever had for my husky who is a crazy puller. Strong and beautiful material. Highly recommend for dogs that tend to pull a lot.

These are great slip leads. I donate them to the Humane Society of Charlotte and they are used by volunteer dog walkers and by shelter staff. Perhaps the best feature of these slip leads is that they hold a loop, making it much easier to slip over the head of a jumpy dog that has to pee. We also use the slip leads, along with a leash attached to the dog collar, to walk dogs with handling sensitivity.

If you’ve gotten this as a head collar, to go around the nose, it does not work that way it would just slip right off past their ears. That said the feel of it is nice in the hand, but it does tangle as a rope would when you twist it Not my favorite.
